Maria was spectacular, shes very knowledgable about the city. We walked, talked, got some coffee and explored the JORDAAN area. She knows her architecture, the differing neighborhoods and the people who live there. She was such a delight in every way. I look forward to more tours with her in the future. I highly recommend her
Maria was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and engaging. We learned soo much about Jordan and tasted local favorites. Would highly recommend !
Dear Norman, Thank you for your kind words! Maria was so pleased to hear you enjoyed our tour “Your Own Amsterdam. Jordaan: The Atmosphere of Old Holland”. She sends her warmest greetings to all of you. We’d be happy to welcome you back anytime, whether in the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Morocco, Hungary, or Serbia. Warm regards, Anastasia
We wanted to get a tour of Jordaan during a market day so this was a perfect tour for us. Our lovely guide Maria was flexible in adjusting to our family of 4 and also gave us time to explore the market on our own and the opportunity to enjoy some local treats. She was very knowledgeable, accommodating and flexible.
Dear Lindsay, we are happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed your tour with Maria. She sends you many greetings!
Nice and relaxing tour - we did it as a private option. Maria was flexible and accommodated our request for a meeting spot closer to our hotel. She was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned quite a bit about the Dutch culture in general. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour with Maria if you are in Amsterdam.
Thanks a lot for your detailed review! We are very happy to hear you had a good time in Jordaan! We hope to see you soon again!
Sasha was a great guide who was a wealth of information while making the tour fun and tailored to us and our questions
Thank you Lori! Sasha sends you many greetings!
It was one of more than 10 tours for discovering beautiful Netherlands with Snurk.Travel and professional guide Anastasia Afonina. I would say- somehow the helped me to find a second home: when the Ukrainian war started - I didn’t think too much where to relocate my family as aa”safe harbour” - i was already in love with Netherlands. And although now i live here - i still allocate time for discovering this beautiful country and close neighbourhood with the same agency and same guide , as they earned trust and respect.
Dear Valentina, thank you so much for your kind words! It's always a great pleasure to discover new places with you! We hope to see you and your family soon!
We really enjoyed the walking tour of the Jordaan area and learning about its history. I love learning the history of places. Anna was a great guide. She was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Thank you so much!
I enjoyed looking at the different architectural styles. Our guide Anna was very knowledgeable of the Jordaan area and gave us good ideas for looking at surrounding shops and cafe's.
Thank you so much, Patty!
We did the tour with Sasha and it was really amazing He took us through different parts of the city, along the canals, and could give many interesting insights, both on new developments in the city, and its rich history. During the tour, we also had time to sit down at a small cafè and enjoy a typical Dutch apple pie. Sasha could answer all of our questions, would offer us different routes, depending on where we wanted to finish the tour, and was just very knowledgeable about the whole city. The tour was also really interactive, less of a presentation and more of just a conversation between us, which we also really enjoyed. We would really recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Amsterdam in a personal setting.
Thanks a lot! Very happy to hear it! We hope to see you again in the Netherlands, or in one of the other destinations (Morocco, Serbia, Belgium, or Hungary) :)
HI we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Anna. She was punctual and was easy to find at the meeting point. She was well prepared and did extra research to find some places we could stop that really made the walk memorable. I so appreciated her personal touch. She had great communication and was very personable. I would recommend her tours to anyone.
Thank you very much! We are happy to hear you liked the tour!
