Halong Bay is very beautiful. The ship we traveled on was really well kept. It was clean and tidy. The bedroom cabins were great. The mattress was perfect. The ensuite was very good. The food was buffet style and was pretty good. The drinks were very expensive. I would have thought the ship would have traveled to more areas. It seemed to go to one area and then stayed there for most of the cruise
I’m sorry but I’ll be very honest in here. It’s very overpriced. No guide at the beginning, we were so lost, no idea what we should do, how long is the trip to the harbour, and when we did some stops the driver was having difficulty to speak to us in English. And you’ll only be in the cruise for 24 hours, and all the activities were so rushing. I can’t really relax to enjoy them. The food was not the best either, they’re all a bit cold and also the worst part was the dinner, one waitress served the 1st appetizer, 5 mins later the other waitress came and served the 2nd appetizer, and less then 5 mins came the 3rd one and so on until the 5th one. And the waitress will keep coming every minutes to ask if we’re finished with the food, like we were in an eating competition or something. Lastly, the arrangement for the drop off was super chaotic and the guide was not the nice one, he was quite rude to everyone for the attitude, and he has a really bad body odor. And can’t get even worse, he didn’t even ask me where I’d stop (I thought the guide in the cruise already asked me and confirmed so I didn’t bother why the guide in the bus didn’t ask me or confirm with me), after they dropped 90% of the passengers, he came to me and asked me where I’d want to stop, and after I told him the address, he just asked me to get out of the bus for the next stop, and that was 30 mins walk from my hotel. So I won’t recommend this cruise trip to any of my friends. Though I met a lot of lovely people there during the trip!
The agency Viet Lux Travel has a Wonderful staff. Rosy and Loan, they are open to help you with everything you need, also they are very kind and professional. The trip was really nice, we had two lunch, one breakfast and one dinner . We went to different paces and we did kayaking. I will totally recommend to everyone.

Love the ship! The cabins were comfortable, clean and they had a balcony which we enjoyed the amazing view. Food wasn’t as amazing but acceptable. Activities planned was ok. Just that the days we went the weather wasn’t good and we managed to kayak through one cave instead of 3, cause the tides were too high. We were not able to do snorkel as well. Squid fishing was pretty fun.
