Today, the name of Bai Tho Mountain was set by nine mountain poems, including the Han poems of Le Thanh Tong carved on stone in 1468, and Zhenggang in 1729. The cave welcomed its first visitors in 1993, a mere one year before Halong Bay would receive its first bestowment of World Heritage site status from UNESCO.
