Itinerary
The historic center of Bruges, where a covered harbor about one hundred meters long could once be seen. The old buildings and the interesting facts
The Belfry. The tower that marks the center of Bruges, where the city became wealthy in the Middle Ages and which houses the oldest carillon in the world.
The Burg. Where Judith and Baldwin, princess and knight, laid the foundations for the prosperous city of Bruges.
Where the Lord of Gruuthuse became the richest knight in Flanders. Becoming rich through beer — sounds quite appealing to me.
The place you would have tried to avoid in the Middle Ages. No anesthesia and many diseases.
Probably the most picturesque square in Bruges. And you can enjoy a good meal there.
The oldest brewery in Bruges, with a very ingenious system for transporting beer to the other side of the city.
The Love Bridge, or the Kisses Bridge. Very romantic, yet with a rather macabre side.
How Philip the Fair chose his bride.
The most beautiful promenade in Bruges, but also the oldest harbor of the city.
Wealthy people lived here. It was home to the richest guild of Bruges, but the work they did is certainly not something you would want to do. It was also the smelliest place in Bruges.
The loudest place in Bruges… full of fishwives.
To conclude, a delightful boat trip on the Reien.

Wonderful tour, Peter is an engaging and knowledgeable guide, highly recommend. Bruges is definitely someplace you have to see before you die.
Fantastic tour! Very informative and he whisked us around through streets that were not so busy while was really nice. He was open to all questions and made us feel welcome to his city. They also give some great recommendations after the tour so if there’s time, definitely explore those.
Great tour, definitely would recommend it. Tour guide was very friendly, provided helpful information on places to go whilst your visiting the city. Had good humour and fun facts. Great value for money.
Our guide, Peter was born and raised in Brugge. He spent 4 years studying the history here and it showed. Peter could be a stand up comedian. He made the tour both informative and hilarious. He had many memorable antidotes to share. Highly recommend Peter for your Brugge experience. Best guide we’ve been with in the month we’ve been touring Europe.
Excellent tour covering many sights, with very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Clearly spoken English and made the tour fun and interesting. Lovely boat ride and chocolate tasting added to the experience.
Peter is the most interesting, knowledgeable, and entertaining guide. Extremely enjoyable tour! Would do it all over again.
I learned so much on the Bruges tour with Peter. As someone who grew up in the town, he has vast knowledge of its history and culture. We tucked into small lanes and courtyards that I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. A charming boat tour is also included, plus a few chocolate stops! This tour is an excellent way to explore beautiful Bruges.
We had cruise shuttle that leaves earlier than tour is over, we could not make any changes and tour operator was not willing to refund part of tour we missed, that’s bummer we had to pay twice
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your schedule did not allow you to complete the tour. Our tour consists of a guided walking tour followed by a boat trip. This itinerary, including the approximate duration, is clearly described in advance. The boat seats are reserved and paid for beforehand, with your boat departure scheduled for 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, we cannot change these reservations on the day of the tour. On the day itself, you participated in the walking tour but left before the boat trip without informing our guide. As the services had already been reserved and paid for, we were unable to offer a partial refund. We were also surprised to receive a refund request stating that you were unable to attend due to illness, as you were in fact present for the first part of the tour. We understand that cruise passengers often have strict schedules. However, cruise ships arrive and depart at different times, and we welcome guests arriving by cruise ship, car, train, or those staying in Bruges. For that reason, it is unfortunately impossible for us to adjust our daily tour schedule to individual travel arrangements. We genuinely regret that your cruise schedule prevented you from enjoying the complete experience, but in this case the tour was provided as booked and we cannot accept responsibility for a conflict with your personal travel plans.
Peter is a great guide. Super pleasant introduction and fun walk with cool stories and jokes in between. Highly recommended!
Peter was one of the best guides we’ve ever had ok ANY tour. His stories were so engaging and you could tell his love and passion for the city and its history. The tour itself gave us a very complete overview of Bruges and was the perfect mix of walking and viewing. I would highly recommend this tour and any tour led by Peter
