Helena gave a very good overview of the Jewish history of the city and was very dedicated, even though I was the only participant 😃👍
My guide was awesome!! As I was the only guest on today’s tour he customized to my needs and desires. As he knew I had limited time in Cordoba, he gave me suggestions of what to do the following day after my tour of the Mezquita. So personable and relaxed, he made me feel welcome in his hometown. I felt like an old friend was giving me a tour of his hometown except he knew all the history.
This was a pleasant enough walking tour of the Jewish quarter of Cordoba. Our tour guide was competent with reasonable knowledge of the area. Unfortunately, because we took the 8PM tour, the synagogue wasn't open, which would have been a highlight of the tour. Obviously, this wasn't the fault of the tour guide. If we had known that the synagogue wasn't open, we might not have taken this later tour. All in all, it was an interesting, if somewhat lacking tour.
Not so much a tour as a history lesson of Granada's tumultuous past. Guide's English allowed lots of Q & A.
Great idea for learning about Cordoba in depth- very informative thankyou Helena
