The story about Comuna 13 was explained well but it was a bit too long and many of us lost interest as it went for too long. But the leader is excellent and knows a lot, however it should be shortened,
We had a great tour. Joe was able to guide our group (13 people) through Comuna 13 with lots of positive energy but also relevant stories about the history and current state of Comuna 13. He really knows the area and its inhabitants!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Kevin. He provided an excellent history and thoughtful conversation throughout. I would highly recommend a tour with Kevin.
Joe was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable on the history of communa 13. Although the tour included a lot of stairs and walking on inclines, there was the perfect amount of stops and breaks.
Joe was great and very knowledgeable. Loved the snacks. Great experience overall and loved learning about comuna 13.
Joe was amazing. Patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour!
Joe speaks perfectly English and he knows how to keep it interesting. A must do!!
Duvan fue muy amable. He made sure we enjoyed and took pictures. Gave a good tour and even at the end dropped my friend and I at the mirador.
Very informative and insightful. Our tour guide Carlos was very knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of all people in our group. Snacks were delicious. We had a good time.
I was questioning whether we should take this tour. It seemed a little bit too touristy when I read about it. But it was incredibly worthwhile and we learned a lot: Joe was a wonderful tour guide. You could tell he takes a lot of pride in his community. I will call out that the whole area is very crowded. Very loud with lots of music. And lots of steps to climb up and down. So if you have an issue with stairs, I would not recommend. But for us, it was a great experience.
