Our guide was Nazareth. His explanations were too long, which impressed the tour with a very slow pace. No passion or pride in what it showed, like a recording.
This tour was one of my favorite experiences of our trip to Spain. Marta did a fantastic job relating the history of the city and the buildings. She is a great storyteller. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Balanced visit in duration and content. Nazareth made it very enjoyable and interesting. Very good and recommended !!!!!!!
We had an amazing morning with Marta giving us a guided tour around Ùbeda in English. She really knew about the history of the city and made the tour both interesting and amusing. Despite the cold she kept us interested to the end. We followed up on her recommendations and did more exploring the following day on our own. We would definitely recommend Marta as a tour guide and also Ùbeda as a Spanish city to visit. Please note that a lot of the places of interest are closed on Mondays.
Today (or now yesterday), took a walking tour of Ubeda with Isabel… she was awesome! It was stated to be a two hour tour, but Isabel made sure she packed everything in and we went over thirty minutes and it was amazing! Walked through Ubeda and she showed us all the interesting sites and the history behind it (including the Parador of Ubeda that we were staying at!). Isabel was knowledgable, friendly, and ultra enthusiastic about Ubeda where she and generations of her family are from. She was ultra helpful and gave us a list of places to have dinner and ended up going to Misa de 12 per her recommendation to try the lagarto ibérico and totally agree as she said, it’s riquísimo! Thanks for an amazing day Isabel!!!
A visit to Úbeda very well done by the Guide, Nazareth who has taught us in a sympathetic way all the secrets of this historic city It's a Guide of 10
The tour was carried out by a charming Speaker Guide who knew her subject very well. We were able to see the most important monuments of Ubeda with all the related anecdotes. A special mention for visiting the Palacio Vela de los Cobos which is privately owned. The visit particularly interested us and we did not see the time pass. We highly recommend it.
We made the guided tour of Baeza with entrance to the Cathedral, although due to a celebration it was faster than desired. Still, Adrian the guide showed knowledge of the subject, made it both enjoyable and instructive
Our guide, Adrián, gave us an excellent tour of Úbeda in English, showcasing the magnificent Renaissance sites, art, architecture and history of this gem of a city. Adrián intertwined fascinating and at times humorous anecdotes of the city’s past with the more technical explanations of buildings, plazas and art. Highly recommend this tour with Adrián as your guide. Apparently, he also gives tours of nearby Baeza.
I highly recommend this tour to give you an understanding of the importance of Ubeda. There were many surprising details. Marta was a great guide!
