This tour was of the exterior architecture, figures, and history of the cathedral as well as the surrounding buildings. Jorge was very knowledgeable and gave some great inside tips of local spots around the Old Town.
No French translator. That's a shame! Because there are many details! Stroll, original!
Lovely and very knowledgeable guide. However either the equipment or very heavy accent made it difficult to fully understand at times
I thought our tour guide (Virginia) did an excellent job giving us unique historical insights around the old town of Santiago de Compostela. Highly recommend; worth every penny.
It was a great experience! I definitely recommend this tour.
They need to know how to identify their guide as we had to ask several guides if they were our guide.
Irene was kind and funny and knowledgeable. Maybe less joking and more talking about the boundaries of old town and who lives there and what trades or crafts people work in the area. A bit about those kneeling beggars. I think it would be helpful if all received name and address of recommendations after the tour.
why did i pay money up front for a free tour that viator didnt give???? no transparency. viator didnt disclose they were not giving the tour
Hi Jhon. We’re not quite sure what you mean, since all our tours have been running as usual—we’ve even added new departure times. No tours have been canceled. Please email us at info@wegalicia.com so we can clarify what happened. Best regards, Raúl
Catalina is by far the best and funniest guide I have had on tours so far. Rich in facts, informative and peppered with good background knowledge. Great tips from a local. I hope to meet you again at a guided tour.
Our guide was excellent... a nice mix of fact and humour and kept whole group engaged. Saw parts of Santiago I'd have missed if I didn't do tour. Identified buildings and statues I've passed a d didn't realise significance.
