We had a really great time at Karlić Tartufi! The tasting was a real treat – every product was high-quality and super delicious. Super delicious tasting, and Armin told the history and historical background wonderfully, and you can tell that a lot of heart and soul goes into this. Who knew what you could enhance with truffles! From spreads to cheese to chocolate! Delicious and fascinating. We even met some of the truffle sniffing experts!
There were just two of us on the tour, our tour guides were very friendly, and the truffle dogs there were very sweet. The food that was cooked there was also very good!
Today we visited Karlić Tartufi. They gave us a detailed and very interesting presentation about their business and patiently and kindly answered all of our questions. They treated us to a tasting of many of their products, and every single one was truly excellent and worthy of praise. What stood out the most were the top quality, rich flavours, and creative combinations with truffles, from sausages and cheeses to spreads, honey, and oils. All of the employees were extremely approachable and cheerful, and it was obvious that they genuinely love what they do and live for it. The entire experience was very pleasant, authentic, and warm. A special bonus of the visit was spending time with and petting the adorable truffle-hunting dogs.
