Guided Gaudí’s Trencadís Mosaic Workshop in Barcelona 4 Hours

What a wonderful way to remember our holiday in Spain. We booked this class as a fun activity for our family. We are so glad we did! The staff explained the basics of making a mosaic item. They have plenty of templates that you can choose from and they provide all the tools and materials required. There is plenty of staff available to help each participant and they are very patient answering questions from those of us that are not very "artsy" or "crafty". The staff were helpful, without being intrusive and willing to provide helpful hints or tips and tricks to assist. We booked the 4 hour class and needed every minute of it!

This was so fun! I booked the four hour class because some of the reviews here stated two hours was not enough. Axelle was my instructor, and she did a fantastic job making sure I knew how to properly cut and glue the tiles. I chose to make the salamander since it’s one of Gaudi’s mosaics at Park Güell, and it represents Barcelona to me. It turned out so cute. I love it! Please make note that your mosaics need time to be grouted and dried. So you’ll do the work one day and need to pick it up the following day. If you have the time to book a class here, do it! You won’t regret it.

As part of a mosaic course trip through Erasmus, we had eight women experience a four-hour course on site. We received a short introduction to the mosaic laying and the history of the mosaic. Extensive material, technical advice and own ideas contributed to the fact that all participants were able to record very good results. Communication was warm and appreciative. Super fun activity for creative people. Unleash your inner artist and make mosaic. The staff were helpful and the instructions easy to understand. Cutting and placing tiles in a nice design is harder than it seems and two hours flys by.

The young woman who taught us was amazing. I can not recall her name. She was very professional. Her English was so good I thought she was from the States. She was from Turkey. She made this class very fun. We have cool souvenirs that we made too.

Good morning! I finally wanted to leave a review for that special workshop that my friend and I spent in your workshop. It is what I remember most about that trip to Barcelona and we loved the experience and the kindness and patience they had with us. Angelica was a sun and we were very grateful to meet her to collect the Marks we made and for her kindness. It was also nice to share that time with a couple and their son, chatting with them at times, having a laugh and enjoying the time of creating something so beautiful I recommend it to everyone!! Every time I see the frame we made at home it reminds me of that trip and those creative hours, trying something new and having a great time. Thanks for everything!
