We were visiting Guayaquil and used Allyson to provide us with a city walking tour. Allyson has a passion for her city as demonstrated by her professional approach to the tour. We learned so much about Guayaquil from its history of independence to its city development as well as the Ecuadorian culture. Allyson guided us to all the interesting points in the city as well as tempted us with local foods along the way. There was no better way to understand Guayaquil and enjoy the culture than a city tour with Allyson.
I'm so glad you liked the tour! Guayaquil is a city to be discovered, also it's interesting to know ot through food even if it's just a snack, a coffee or an ice cream. Everything has a meaning, or it's part of our traditions. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to show you my city!
Allyson was a wonderful guide who showed us the highlights of her lovely city. She surprised us by taking us to a cocoa shop where we got to pick up some Ecuadorian chocolate. We enjoyed our morning with Allyson and highly recommend her.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to show you Guayaquil and the experiences this city offers
Lilian was an awesome guide. She arrived on time, stayed long enough to cover everything we wanted to do and did not rush us. She walked with us to all the places on our list and had the cards for the Aerovia cable car to make it easy to purchase the tickets. She told us about which places were safe and kept us away from places that were not safe. She even took us to a great souvenir shop and helped us with the shopping. She went out of the way to recommend vegan restaurants we should try! She also told us of a safe walking route to go see the giant monkey statue (Estatua Del Mono Machín) within walking distance of the hotel but in the median of the Juan Javier Marcos y Aguirre road on the way to the airport. Every attraction on our list was a hit and worthy of the visit - the 444 steps through Las Penas neighborhood to El Faro, the lighthouse, the cable car ride from Malecon to Duran and back to Cathedral, the nearby Cathedral, the Iguana park on the way to the Municipal building and the plaza in front, the Art University all opposite the Malecon, the semicircle Rotonda monument and the 2 things we did on our own - the walk to the giant monkey statue (Estatua Del Mono Machín) and the evening walk along the Malecon near our Wyndham Santa Ana hotel. Remember to wear full sleeves and long pants to stay safe from the bugs near the river eager for human blood as you walk the Malecon in the evening or sit out to eat an eatery off Malecon.
We are so glad you enjoyed our city with Liliana. She is a great tour guide, a hard-working mom, and importantly, she loves Ecuador as much as our team does. We work hard to bring the best memories. Liliana and the team send you a big hug and safe travels. Local Friend Tour Team
Allyson was very knowledgeable about the area and she lives here. We especially loved riding the aerial cable car with her and seeing the city from above. Her English is great and very easy to understand. She also does other tours throughout Ecuador.
We do the best to make you feel at home in our country. Thanks for your comments, it means a lot for our team!
Great tour of the city, very accommodating. Picked us up at our B&B on time and dropped us off right at the door. We were somewhat hesitant about coming to Ecuador, especially Guayaquil, after the news stories in January. We decided to come and risk it, but I will just say that at No Time did we ever feel unsafe in the slightest. Security/police everywhere, and the people were so kind and welcoming. Tourism is really down because of it, and that’s just a shame.
It was a honor for our team to show you our beautiful city, thanks for being a great traveller. We hope you come back and discover more of the treasure that Ecuador is to the World.
We had a great time with our Guayaquil tour. Allyson was very knowledgeable and led us around the sites of the city without any issues. Would recommend if you have a few hours to get this tour to see the sites.
Hello Melanie, Thanks for your kind words. We love to do our job and are also inspired by the satisfaction of our travelers. Come to Ecuador again, you have a friend now!
We had the joy of meeting Cristopher as our guide, who in addition to speaking Portuguese mastered with great knowledge the explanations and presentations of the places and the history of Guayaquil, in addition to giving us a north to follow our tour and enjoy the city.
Oi Ademilda! Nossa equipe de trabalho está feliz por ter conseguido que você tenha uma experiência agradável do início ao fim e que queira voltar ao Equador sempre que quiser! Obrigado também por reservar um tempo para conhecer nossa amada cidade de Guayaquil.
Allison was spectacular listening to our interests and showing local attractions with exploring. She guided us to local delicacies including coffees and chocolate. Not to be missed are food and coffee at La Mula Ciega
Thanks for your kind words 😊 The love I have for my country is what drives me to share as much as I can with my travellers. I'm glad you had such a great experience so can tell others what a paradise is Ecuador.
These days I visited Guayaquil together with my son, and to know the city we hired this Enterprise to give us a tour part by car and part by foot, Allysson was our guide, a very sweet and very professional girl. The truth is that the city is very nice but it is necessary to have a place that tells us the true history of its independence and its commercial development. A city surrounded by water with super nice temperature. Allyson very helpful to make my gastronomic tour at the end of the tour. I recommend them.
Alysson was an ideal guide for the whole tour we had in Ecuador. She was always willing and willing for the job. It showed us tourist, gastronomic and Ecuadorian culture sites. I would like to thank you for all your attention and time. Branimir Caleta Director / DP of the tourism program Dos de Viaje.
Fue un honor para mí y un gran aprendizaje de manejo de logística para un grupo como el de ustedes. Siempre que se hace con amor las cosas todo sale bien, esto lo digo por mí y por el trabajo que hacen ustedes. Espero verlos pronto!
