Itinerary
Once you meet the guide you be explained the history of Warsaw Ghetto, Polish Jews and the holocaust. You will see the Polin Museum architectural idea, Ghetto Heroes Monument and the area of the Jewish Ghetto.
Warsaw Ghetto Uprising began on 19 April 1943 near Nalewki, Zamenhofa and the area around the former Ghetto walls. Jewish fighters launched armed resistance against Nazi deportations, turning the streets and bunkers of the Warsaw Ghetto into a symbol of courage, defiance and the fight for dignity.
Krasiński Palace is one of Warsaw’s finest Baroque palaces, built in the late 17th century for the powerful Krasiński family. Designed as a grand city residence, it features an elegant façade rich with classical sculpture and symbolism. Today, the palace forms part of the National Library complex and is best admired from the surrounding Krasiński Garden, that we will walk throughout.
The Warsaw Uprising Monument is a dramatic bronze memorial honouring the 1944 uprising, showing insurgents rushing into battle and disappearing into the city’s ruins. You will hear some thrilling history in here!
Warsaw New Town blends pastel townhouses, cobbled lanes and quiet charm. Smaller and calmer than Old Town, it feels like Warsaw exhaling between history and daily life.
In Warsaw Old Town, you will see colourful reconstructed townhouses, narrow cobbled streets, and lively squares crowned by the Main Market Square and the Mermaid statue. The area is framed by medieval walls and the Barbican, anchored by St. John’s Arch cathedral and the Royal Castle overlooking Castle Square.
Outside visit. Royal Castle in Warsaw was the residence of Polish kings and the seat of parliament. Destroyed during WWII and rebuilt with precision, it stands today as a symbol of Poland’s resilience and cultural heritage.
Warsaw Barbican is a red brick fortress linking Old and New Town. Rebuilt after WWII, its towers and walls echo medieval Warsaw with storybook drama.

This was the perfect tour to get to know 2 important areas of Warsaw- the ghetto experience of Jews during the Holocaust and the Old Town dating back to medieval times. I appreciated the care Art took when discussing the plight of the Jewish people. He pointed out their acts of resistance beyond the 2 uprisings and was super knowledgeable of Jewish symbolism used in memorials. Art fielded a ton of my questions about the Old Town. He gave not only the history of the area but discussed architecture and folklore. One big aha was the knowledge that there was a second smaller market square to sell smelly and lower quality goods! It makes sense and we saw where this was. Be sure to make a wish on the bell and ask him for restaurant recommendations. This guy is a Warsaw native with a passion for history and his city- he knows it all. I would recommend this tour.
It was very informative and Kasper was very knowledgeable about Polish history and the history of Jews in Warsaw. Definitely worth your time.
