Itinerary
The Kravica Falls area also has a little cafe, a rope swing, a picnic area, and a place to camp. The best time of year for visiting is during the springtime when the fall is at its fullest and the arid landscape turns a bright green. During the high season, various restaurants in the vicinity of the waterfalls mostly offer grilled dishes and fish specialties.Near the Kravica Falls is also a small grotto with stalactites made of calcium carbonate, an old mill and a sailing ship. The owner of the waterfall was a famous municipal councilor, landowner, benefactor and philanthropist from Ljubuški, Zaim-beg Selimić.
Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most visited landmarks, and is considered an exemplary piece of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

They canceled the excursion the day before because it was low season , the day before a guide called me q was waiting for me and I said but if the excursion is tomorrow March 10 in Spanish and hung up and then sent me a message telling me the costs q for him supposed to take only two people and things later the company q I was not interested in and I wonder, why they did not warn in advance or just close the excursion for low season to not make us have these bad times. In low season do not book in Spanish because these disasters happen and then by another page I took it out in English and the guide was wonderful and attentive
Gracias por tu reseña. Cuando nos conocimos, te dije que hacemos excursiones en inglés todos los días, pero no puedo garantizar que se hagan en español porque es temporada baja y no hay muchos huéspedes en la ciudad que hablen español en esta época del año.
Fight nice trip with a good guide, should be a little more information about waterfalls, and recommendation to wear jogging shoes.
Mostar and the waterfalls were both amazing. The issue is with the trip. It was advertised as a 10 hour trip but was actually 14. We had other plans that were ruined due to this. They also say the bus has AC, but we were all sweating. Most of this trip is on the bus which is a long ride. We spent at least 3 hours of the trip (sitting on the bus) at the boarders trying to clear in or out. The visit to the town and waterfalls seemed rushed as you could only stay for short periods at each. The walking guide and bus guide were both great and informative. However, at the waterfalls by the time we changed, walked 15 mins down, changed, jumped in the water for 10 minutes… it was time to go. Overall my group of 4 agreed that we would not do this tour again.
Thanks Gary_R for your review I can influence on border and when you book tour in the middle of summer it is normal that everybody travel and it why it is longer tour than usually. Tour is not rushed. My advise next time book private tour. I wish all best to you and your familly
Early start and arrived at waterfalls by 920am which is perfect before all the coach trips arrive - stunning vista marred only by adjacent sun shades with the obligatory cold drinks vendors etc but still highly recommend to view this place. Our driver Ivo was extremely knowledgeable of the area as we drove through the countryside on our tour. Mostar was busy by lunchtime but enough time to grab lunch and plod through the old town. Marred slightly by too many souvenir shops - however a bonus is food and drinks etc are nearly half the price compared to Croatia. Dinner and soft drinks for three was Euros 30 at a nice restaurant Labirint balcony views of the bridge on the far side. Return journey was via the coast with beautiful views Quite a bit of time on the road by back in Hotel at 17:30 after a 06:50 start. Overall a good trip and recommended.
Bilingual Opinion. Showing super is worth it but you would have to look for a new operator Smiley or Hat as we show the one we use has very old and uncomfortable vehicles. My husband didn't fit in the assigned place. Our guide Anet very nice and friendly but it was very difficult to listen to your comments as the microphone of the truck did not work well. The very rude driver. Mostar is a beautiful place, it’s worth the visit! Unfortunately the service operator we hired Smiley or Sombrero have very old and uncomfortable vehicles. Our guide Anet was a very nice lady, unfortunately we couldn’t listen to her explanations because the micro in the bus didn’t work properly. The bus driver was rude.
Ivo guided us on the tour to Mostar, expertly telling us about the region. A delightful trip. Turned out that two and a half hours were a bit short in Mostar. Go with three.
Excellent tour, our guide Stipan was really knowledgeable and had good recommendations. We had the right amount of time at the waterfalls and at Mostar, with interesting rest stops so we could stretch our legs and learn more about areas on route. There was six of us in our group and the mini van was comfortable and had good air con.
Mostar is cool and the waterfall was cool but overall felt like a waste of a day. The guide wasn’t interested in her job. The driver was using his phone at times when driving, even watched a video once while driving. Too much time at the waterfall unless you go swimming which most don’t. You can see all of Mostar in 1 hour so 3 hours is way too long. Would be better if there were more stops along the way to look at more things. A lot of time in the van and expensive for no reason.
Thanks Zach_M for you beautiful review I am so glad that you had nice experience on this tour I wish all best to you and your familly.
Although it rained throughout the tour both the places were lovely to visit. The waterfalls were beautiful, but this does include a lot of walking up and down stairs. Mostar was still busy although it was pouring down with rain- overall a nice day. The driver ‘Tomislav’ was a bit rude and impatient and did come across as a bit racist as he made a few comments which weren’t appreciated
I am sorry that you had that experience with our great guide and driver Tomislav. Every person so far was allways saying nice words about him. Everybody of us can make comments about some thing but he will never say something inappropriately. We got another review from other people who where on tour with you and they wrote great review about Tomislav.
Very worthwhile and well guided! Waterfalls are impressive and Mostar is magical. The guide Dusko was knowledgeable and helpful! Good pacing and stops.
