Itinerary
After a 30-minute drive from the port, we visit the Jameos del Agua, the first Art, Culture and Tourism Centre created by César Manrique, a natural space created inside a volcanic tunnel. Inaugurated in 1968, the artist, painter and sculptor transformed the space giving rise to a unique work in the world that represents the maximum expression of his ideology: artistic creation in harmony with the environment and nature.
After a 15-minute drive, we will enjoy spectacular views of La Graciosa from a cliff 500 metres away.
After a 30 minute drive, we will visit the Casa-Museo del Campesino, located in the geographical centre of Lanzarote in the municipality of San Bartolomé. This is the work with which César Manrique recognises the efforts of the farmers of Lanzarote. From the bus we will see the Monumento a la Fecundidad, also known as the Monumento al Campesino. It is a construction of more than 15 metres, created by César Manrique together with the master Jesús Soto, from old water tanks from ships, iron and concrete objects assembled together, a magnificent reflection of avant-garde art, which has become one of the iconographic symbols of the island.
After a 10-minute drive, we will visit La Geria, a peculiar area of the island of Lanzarote where vineyards abound. With a volcanic landscape and arid land, the quality of its wines is surprising. It is unusual to find vineyards in such a terrain. We will stop at a winery for a small wine tasting.
After another 10 minutes' drive, we will arrive at the camel camp. If you wish, you can take a 20-minute ride on the back of this beautiful animal for an extra charge. If you don't wish to do so, you can visit a small museum about the history of the camels on the island of Lanzarote.
It will take us about 10 minutes drive to reach the Fire Mountains: the unusual result of the eruptions in the south of Lanzarote in the 18th and 19th centuries. A spectacle of red craters, lava flows and lunar landscapes that reflect the burning of the earth and its uncontrollable force. Its 200 kilometres of extension form part of the Timanfaya National Park, where one of the largest volcanic activities in the world can be seen, both for the immense quantity of materials thrown up by the fire, and for its spectacular duration: six years between 1730 and 1736 when the bowels of the island did not stop roaring.
For our last visit, we will take a 20-minute drive to the Lago Verde (Green Lake). Situated in the crater of a volcano, it has become one of Lanzarote's main tourist attractions. After the visit we will have a 30 minutes drive back to the harbour.

Three friends visiting Lanzarote. The visit was spectacular; we visited Timanfaya, the Jameos, Cueva Verde, and the green lagoon. An entire experience: Vanessa is wonderful as a guide, and we had a great time with her. The perfect company for pickup; we did two more excursions, and all were very good. We will definitely recommend it to all our friends... Thank you very much for everything..
Gracias a vosotras por habernos elegido! El equipo de Lanzaroteguides les envía sinceros saludos!
Lots of information, good organization. Those who prefer smaller groups are not in such good hands, however. Big coach full of different people.... I would also no longer book a trip where Camel is offered to ride! The animals are packed with double seats, for me a NO GO!
Super interesting trip with a big bus .Definitely book the big tour .You drive in the morning to visit a cave and in the afternoon to the national park. The show at the park is super
Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für uns entschieden haben! Wir freuen uns, dass Sie auf unserem Ausflug das Beste von Lanzarote genießen konnten!
Great tour with a few highlights. Instead of the sales events wine tasting and camel riding, it would be more interesting to visit other scenic highlights such as les herveiros or La cueva verde.
With the day tour you can see almost all of Lanzarote. We were very happy to be able to spend this day with Vanessa.
We had our Tour with Vanessa. She was really nice, well organised and explained many things throughout about the Lanzarote. She always took care of the group. She is fluent in German and her German was good. I would really recommend this if someone wants to explore the Island. We took the South + North tour, so we were able to see the highlight of the island.
We really enjoyed the tour. Everything we've seen is very nice. Super well organized and does nothing heavy, quite the opposite. The guide and driver very good and very professional. Thank you so much!
Booked excursion for November 22. I find myself doing a negative review because of their unseemly behavior. We had booked the tour, about 15 people, in October. It is communicated to Lanzaroteguides the arrival time s of our ship would be at 9 and not at 8 and we were told that there would be no problems. There are 6 days left to the tour (I point out that we were sailing ) and they send us a communication that our tour has been canceled plus we are offered an alternative (4 hours tour in German). I highly discourage for bad and unprofessional attitude by the agency. Unfortunately I had to put a star otherwise I could not publish the review.
The caves were amazing. Tour guide was a fountain of knowledge. The Volcano experience was brilliant. Driver was very good as the roads were challenging. Overall great day! Just remember to take some cash as not all places take card
Brilliant experience! Due to the rain we couldnt get to the highest point but it ye rest was absolutely amazing. Well worth it!
