Itinerary
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel, or any other location of your choice in Venice, and a private water taxi will be docked as close as possible. Set off to explore highlights like the Frari Chapel, San Polo Square, and the Doge’s Palace.
As you float through the city's dreamy canals and under charming bridges on a gondola ride, make sure you have your camera at the ready. Pass by the 15th-century San Rocco school and church, and stop at San Polo Square, where Venetians used to organize bullfights for Carneval.
Next, make your way to the lively Rialto market where locals go for fresh fish and produce, admiring the grand Rialto Bridge as you approach it by boat. You’ll have the opportunity to buy a snack or drink at the market, browse the local delicacies, and go souvenir shopping.
The final stop will be at Piazza San Marco. Your guide will point out the mosaics adorning St Mark's Basilica, its clock tower and the Campanile.
Admire views of Doge’s Palace, which for over 1000 years served as the government administration center for the region. You’ll end your tour with a relaxing gondola ride (if this option was selected). Please note that the guide will not accompany you during this part of the experience. Once your gondola ride is finished, you’ll have to make your way back to your hotel or your next destination independently.

If you are trying to experience Venice by water, this is a good tour. Our tour guide, Annalisa, was very knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed the limited time we had with her. There seemed to be some confusion on where/when the water taxi was showing up, but once it arrive the tour went well. The gondola ride, on the other hand, was quickly arranged by Annalisa at the gondola station, and it only lasted 20 minutes. The total time on the water was less than 1.5 hours, and at a cost of $950, it was an overly expensive experience. I also believe having the term “luxury” in the title is totally misleading, as there was really nothing luxury about it.

We had a wonderful day with Claudia! She managed to spend time with each of us (a group of 10) to be sure we had questions answered and were enjoying our experience. She managed a toddler and heavy rains with a smile. We learned so much and were able to explore the beautiful islands. The pickup from our hotel was wonderful and made our day so easy to navigat. I highly recommend this tour!
