See the largest cathedral in Denmark, which is also the cathedral in Northern Europe where the larges number of royals are burried. In the months November to March - It will solely be a photostop outside the Roskilde Cathedral
Explore the stories of the vikings and early Danish history.
You will get time to explore Frederiksborg Castle on your own. Tickets are included. The 2h and 15 minutes are including a lunch stop. You decide how much time you wish spending seeing the castle, and how much time you wish to spend with the lunch.

We offer hotel pickup from most hotels located in the center of Copenhagen. Pickups take place 30–50 minutes before the tour begins. Above everything else Sillas was incredible. Everywhere we went the time given was perfect and Sillas explained things amazingly. We loved the tour, loved how it was a smaller group, the places we went, and absolutely enjoyed our tour guide Sillas. I highly recommend this tour and our guide!
Hiring Thomas for a private tour was the best decision we made on our trip to Denmark and Sweden. We did the full-day tour: Kronborg, Frederiksborg Castle and its gardens, watched the changing of the guard at Fredensborg Palace (the royal family’s summer residence), enjoyed lunch, and toured Roskilde Cathedral. He was a wealth of knowledge, easy to understand, and has such a pure love and appreciation for the sights that it’s contagious in the best possible way. The history, the stories of the people who lived there, the customs, and the culture stayed with us long after the day was over. It was remarkable how many times throughout the week we kept referring back to something we had learned that day. We had a whole new level of appreciation and understanding of everything we saw that week because of everything we learned that day. So many questions I didn’t even know to ask ended up increasing my enjoyment of these countries exponentially: Why are all the houses in Sweden red? What do all the C’s and F’s on the buildings mean? Why do we keep seeing nine hearts? Spending a day with Thomas is like spending the day with a good friend. He puts so much of his heart into his work, and he’s just a genuinely warm person who cares very deeply that you have a good experience. The large passenger van was very comfortable, plenty of water was provided, and the restaurant we visited for lunch was very good. Wear your most comfortable shoes and clothes—there is absolutely loads of walking (it was 20,000 steps for us)—and prepare for one of the richest sightseeing experiences you can have. We had a range of ages with us: two 17-year-olds, a 15-year-old, a 12-year-old, and two adults. Every one of us had a wonderful experience.

Visit two castles and walk around, one was turned in to an art museum with random paintings and sculptures. Visit 3-4 cathedrals (some in the castles.) For what it was overall, I think it was a little pricey, but I’m not sure what the cost of entrance fees were to compare if it was actually worth it.
Our guide, Silas, was amazing and provided detailed information and historical facts which really made our tour exceptional. Highly recommend.

A great day trip to important sites outside Copenhagen proper. Fredericksborg castle and Viking ship museum were especially good but you must move fast to cover the scheduled stops. Brian was a great guide who went the extra mile for his guests. His lunch recommendations were spot on. I recommend this tour if your time is limited.
