Cody was very professional and knowledgeable.
This was a long but amazing experience with Cody running the show. Because there were 3 couples in the van everything ran smoothly and on time.
Amazing trip from beginning to end! Excellent and experienced tour guide/driver/day planner/fellow adventurer!! Unforgettable sights. Highly recommended.
Amazing tour! Be prepared for a long day, but well worth it! Cody was very knowledgeable about the area!
Great tour! Our tour was with 6 other tourists in a small luxury van (8 total - room for 12) Cody was the best! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Also very efficient. He monitored road construction traffic to find the fastest routes so we could enjoy the most time at the Grand Canyon and in Sedona. Tour even included one of the most scenic routes from the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Simply beautiful! Drop off and pick up at our hotel was so convenient. Rest stops were plenty. It was so nice to just leave the driving and logistics to Cody so that we can enjoy the Grand Canyon and Sedona worry-free! A full size lunch was included! Wraps, sandwiches or salads with a drink. Nap on the way back to your hotel was also included! If you want to experience one of the seven wonders of the world, this tour is the one you want! Thanks, Cody, for making our tour so memorable!
Cody is very well versed in grand canyon and surrounding area lore . He does a great job keeping the group on point and moving. We really enjoyed the day! It is a long day so be prepared!
Cody kept us on track and was knowledgeable on area and photo ops. Luckily, we had a great group to travel with!
It is unfortunate, but I would not book this tour if Cody is going to be your host. I have read many good reviews people have given after having a tour with him. We were not the lucky ones. It started from the moment he picked us up. He did not even greet us. I saw a man standing in our hotel lobby and asked if he was Cody and he said yes and looked at his board and confirmed our names and instructed us the car was outside. All afternoon he scolded everyone on the tour regarding our time punctuality. On one restroom stop two ladies were a few minutes late getting back to the van. After that he made sure to tell us every time we stopped how important it was to keep to the schedule and not be late. He even went so far as to tell us on our stop to pick up lunch, which we had to eat in the vehicle, that we had to immediately pick our drinks when we walked into the store prior to going to the restroom to make it easier on him. It was as if we were unconvincing him all day long. This was a family vacation. It was disappointing to have our day trip tarnished by his selfish and aggressive behavior all day long, it was a 13 hour day. Save yourself the grief, choose another provider. I feel Cody does not understand that his job is in the Hospitality Business and as such it is his job to make guests feel welcome and appreciated.
Let me first say thanks for taking the time to write a review of your experience. Im sorry I wasnt your cup of tea and that you disliked me. As for your interpretation lets get to that. At pickup i greeted your group and asked you to sign a waiver. I was not rude and confirmed your groups name and got you sat on the bus. (We offer hotel pickups unlike my competitors). If you were looking for a hug at meeting I apologize. As for the rest of the review im confused to what tour you were on. I made one comment to the other group that was 10 minutes late at "one" stop as for the rest of the day is did not "scold" the group. Punctuality with our groups is important as we get too far behind and I let them know that. We try to keep an orderly pace to fit in all the great photo stops you get to see. Other reviewers like how prompt and Punctual we are. Your group also booked during spring break which is the busiest 3 weeks of the year so we have to keep the program moving because of the crowds. As for the lunch. Let me point that out we provide a full lunch and a full menu to choose from included. Unlike alot of my competitors. We eat on the go alot because we dont get too far behind on schedule. I rarely get complaints from valuing a guests time. So you really seem to embellish the fact of me telling the other group "once" to be on time in a 13 hour day. Also another note I made friendly chatter with your family throughout the day but yall seemed quite unengaging. You had headphones in for most of my commentary. Word to the wise dont book a guided tour and have your airpods in the most of the day not polite and a waste of my good knowledge. Also p.s. thanks for the spilled soda under the seat. I enjoyed cleaning that up. Nice people.
The tour truly exceeded our expectations. Cody was punctual, friendly, and also very informative. We're already looking forward to returning to Arizona for another tour with him.
The shuttle stopped at a few prime viewpoints in the Grand Canyon with ample time at each for exploring and photos.
