We had an amazing Jeep Safari tour around Gozo with Yippee! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Big thanks to our drivers, Dimitri and Georgie, who made our day unforgettable. Highly recommended!
What an amazing day from start to finish! This excursion was fantastic value for money, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Every stop on the tour was excellent, and we've come away with some unbelievable photos and memories that we'll treasure forever. Everything was so well organised, from the hotel pick-up, the 4x4 buggy tour, the delicious lunch, and the brilliant boat trip. Every part of the day exceeded our expectations. A special mention has to go to our tour guide, Mirko. He was absolutely superb! He was incredibly informative, sharing lots of interesting facts throughout the tour as well as giving us some great tips about Malta. We got chatting about where we're from in Scotland, and we couldn't believe how well he understood our accent! He was so friendly, approachable, and made everyone feel welcome, which really added to the experience. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole day ran smoothly from beginning to end. We genuinely can't fault a single thing. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Malta. It was one of the highlights of our holiday, and Mirko definitely deserves a wee bonus for the outstanding job he does. Thank you for such a memorable day!
Had a very enjoyable day on this trip. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. It is a great way to see Gozo. Well done to the boat pilot in the morning as there was a very rude passenger on board. He handled him well. On one of the stops we took a short boat trip. Only 5 euros per person, well worth it. The water and caves were amazing. After the jeep safari was over, we sailed to the Blue Lagoon. Beautiful. This trip was very good value for money and I highly recommend it.
Grant was our driver and we had a great day going around Gozo, stopping by beautiful cliffs and local sights. The drive was followed by a boat trip and dip in Blue Lagoon.
An unforgettable way to see Gozo! The jeep safari was both fun and educational. A huge thanks to our guide/driver, Joseph, who was incredibly kind and made sure we had a top-tier experience from start to finish.
We had a great day exploring Gozo with our Driver Joseph . He was full of interesting information and highly recommend doing the Tour with him
Very fun and entertaining. Learned a lot and got to see salt pools, swim & swim by the blue cave. Both the jeep excursion and boat were great!
I have reserved the Jeep safari tour on the website. I cannot write good review about this agency. These are the reasons: - I have written some messages at the WhatsApp number service the day before the tour. They didn't answer some of my questions even though I wrote to them several times; - I have waited 20 minutes at the pick up point. I have tried to call them because I was worried but they didn't answer me; - The drop off was 500m from my place; - On the tour I have read "Light traditional Gozitan lunch". The dish was Italian Pasta; - I have selected English tour. I was with 2 polish couples. Only one of them spoke English. So, each time we have to wait his translation. Was difficult to put me just with English people? There were a lot of space available in the others jeep. The guide was great, I can just talk well about him. Something is better to say "we are sorry for the mistakes" instead of justifying everything without apologizing or offering any discount for the poor service. You can find better tour operator with good customer service without spend a lot of money with them.
Dear Mauro, Thank you for your review, which you indicated you intended to leave as soon as you arrived in Gozo. Contrary to what you stated, we replied to your message the previous day at 5:30 p.m the day before the tour. Furthermore, the pickup time and location were clearly indicated on your booking voucher. Following the threats you made regarding leaving a negative review, I attempted to contact you several times by phone, but you did not answer. The driver also handed you his mobile phone so that you could speak directly with me, but you ended the call. Regarding your comments about the language, you booked the shared tour (not private), which is clearly advertised as a multilingual service. Your booked in English, and the driver provided all explanations in English, exactly as described and promoted. As for being a SOLO participant on the tour, this was not within our control and did not affect the service provided. The tour operated as booked, and all information and guidance were delivered in the language selected during your reservation. We are disappointed that your review does not accurately reflect the communication and service provided, as we made every effort to assist you before and during the tour.
We booked the Yippee Gozo Jeep Safari through GetYourGuide and can wholeheartedly recommend the tour. From the morning pickup to the return to the hotel, everything was very well organized. The agreed times were adhered to, and the hotel pickup worked flawlessly. We only had to briefly search for the bus for the return trip at the end, as many buses were waiting for their guests in the harbor area, making it somewhat confusing. However, with a few inquiries, that was quickly clarified. Special praise goes to our jeep driver and guide, Dimitri. He was exceptionally friendly, engaged, helpful, and provided us with many interesting pieces of information about Gozo, its history, culture, and sights throughout the day. The tour itself was varied and offered a very good overview of the island. We visited numerous scenic highlights, viewpoints, traditional villages, as well as some of the most famous sights of Gozo. The boat trip and the activities on the water were also well organized and perfectly complemented the excursion. The lunch was simple (we had penne with tomato sauce), but completely fine and suitable for an outing of this kind. What was particularly positive was how much we were able to see and learn in a single day. Anyone wanting to get to know Gozo will receive an excellent impression of the island here. Important to know: The actual safari lasted about 7.5 hours for us. However, with transfers, ferry crossing, and organization, one should plan for a total of around 11 hours from the hotel back to the hotel. Conclusion: An excellently organized tour with a great guide, many impressions, and a very good price-performance ratio. Clear recommendation!
I would give this tour top marks because the places visited are beautiful and the guide, Mario, was super attentive. The only downside is the vehicle used for the tour. It was very noisy, and the interior got quite hot, causing significant discomfort to the legs. The company needs to use newer, more modern vehicles.
