Carlos was excellent. He took plenty of time to explain what we were seeing. He had many pictures that illustrated what the neighborhood looked like in the past.
Patrick did a good job of explaining the history of not only the Gothic Quarter, but of Barcelona and Spain. First time here for most of our group so all found this to be very informative. Wish we could have done more, but the group was too tired.
Patrick met us at our hotel and took us on a splendid walk through the old city. Lots of historical info and anecdotes and recommendations for pastry and chocolate shops. We had been in Barcelona before, but explored areas we didn’t know existed. It was an entertaining experience.
We had a pleasant morning tour with Carlos. This being the first time in Barcelona, it was very helpful to have a local guide like Carlos explain history and significance of Gothic quarters. We highly recommend this tour !!
Our guide Carlos was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Barcelona and Spain. Additionally he was accommodating to our walking speed due to recent slowed mobility. We highly recommend this tour.
Patrick was a great guide for this private walking tour! We communicated beforehand about the time and he was right there waiting for us. His tour is full of interesting facts about the history of Barcelona and the Gothic Quarter specifically. We especially appreciated his recommendations for local bars, restaurants, churros, and gelato—all were excellent!
Patrick was knowledgeable and responsive to our questions and comments. He kept the tour moving without seeming rushed, mixed the serious and lighter topics nicely and gave us a terrific historical and cultural introduction to this part of Barcelona.
This tour worked really well for my family. Carlos was fun, knowledgeable, and flexible. He engaged my kids (the poop log really got their attention) as well as the adults. We loved that it was private so we could move at our own pace.
Carlos’s knowledge and passion shone through. He showed us so many interesting parts of the old town
Patrick gave us an unforgettable tour. From days before the tour he coordinates with you the time and location. Even picture of the meeting spot. This was helpful, we didn’t feel so lost trying to find the meeting spot. My family found this tour a highlight of Barcelona and grew more of an appreciate of the history of the area. Patrick is very knowledgeable of Barcelona, Spain and the history of the area during the Roman times. To hear about Barcelona and the different groups among the area. His story telling kept my family interested. He took pictures of us along the way. Thank you Patrick for an unforgettable tour. Would highly recommend!
