Itinerary
One of the most interesting locations in Iceland due to its geological and historical importance. It holds the meeting of the American and Eurasian tectonic plates, but also this place was chosen to celebrate the general assembly, this is where Iceland's parliament was founded in 930 A.D.
Even though this beautiful waterfall is not one of the biggest in the country, it is one of the Icelandic people’s most well-loved waterfalls due to its location and for its historical significance
We will visit Efstidalur dairy farm for some ice cream and also to visit Icelandic cows and other animals.
Geysir geothermal area is quite stunning where you witness the geyser Strokkur erupts every five minutes.
The thundering Gullfoss waterfall tops many lists as a powerful and hypnotizing natural phenomenon
After having lunch (not included) at this tomato farm, we will gain an insight into the processes of greenhouse horticulture, with a short and informative talk on the subject. Also, Friðheimar breeds Icelandic horses, so we will be able to see and pet a couple of them.
It is one of several crater lakes in the area, known as Iceland's Western Volcanic Zone, which includes the Reykjanes peninsula and the Langjökull Glacier, created as the land moved over a localized hotspot, but it is the one that has the most visually recognizable caldera still intact.

Pickup Locations & Times
-The pick-up process starts at 8:30 and continues until around 9:00 as we collect passengers from different locations. We kindly request that you be at your chosen pick-up location by 08:30 AM. It's important for us to have your email address on record so that we can send you an email 30 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. This email will contain a description of our car, including a photo and license plate number. We will also provide the name of the guide in the email. Our driver-guide will always stop, get out of the car, and search for you. They won't leave the pick-up point unless they cannot locate you. -If you are staying in the downtown area and you do not find the name of your hotel in the list, we will need you to use the bus stop designated to your specific accommodation. These bus stops were created by the city of Reykjavik to limit traffic of buses and larger vehicles in the sometimes narrow streets in the older parts of Reykjavik.

We just had the most amazing tour with Monica! She was so friendly, lighthearted and knowledgeable! She drove us around the Golden Circle telling us all about the places we were seeing and stopping at! I would highly recommend this tour and request Monica!
We had a great time with Roger, our tour guide. There were a ton of stops, even a few not listed on the website! He seemed to know some of the operators of some locations and got a bit of special treatment (truly special or not, it felt special!) Great time, would highly recommend. Eastwest.is is a much smaller operator, and I think they give a higher tier of services when it comes to group size, transit quality, etc.
A great tour of the Golden circle. The Tomato farm was great fun and delicious soup w/ bread. The pace of the day was good, the tour guide knowledgeable and great fun - learned a lot about Iceland and its customs.

We have done many tours with EastWest and they never disappoint! Saevar was a fantastic guide and he even took us to a couple of special “secret” stops with our extra time because everyone was on time or early getting back to the bus each stop. Next time we come back we will continue using them for sure!

Thank you Einar for the exceptional day of touring The Golden Triangle. Small group, comfortable touring van, and all the important sights, including Þingvellir National Park, Öxarárfoss waterfall, the Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall, Efstidalur dairy farm, a lunch stop at Friðheimar tomato farm, and Kerið volcanic crater. Einar shared cultural and historical facts about each stop, and some extras too, Highlights were the dairy farm for the best ice cream ever and a delicious cup of coffee, and the Fridheimar tomato farm, growing tons of tomatoes using geothermal energy to provide the heat needed to grow and provide light was truly inspiring. One of the top tours we’ve experienced in years of travel.

It was a wonderful tour. Pick up and drop off were flawless. Our tour guide, Martin, was very personable and informative. He gave us interesting background info on Iceland in general and specific info about the places we visited. The sights we saw were well worth it. Iceland is stunning.
