Experience the magic of the Tamborine Mountain Glow Worm Caves on a guided tour through a purpose-built cave where thousands of tiny lights sparkle overhead. This family-friendly, conservation focused experience lets you see glow worms during the day and learn about their fascinating life cycle and behaviour as you walk through the illuminated tunnels.
Self-guided and easy to follow, this eco-adventure winds through 30 acres of privately owned rainforest. Stroll a 1.5km circuit combining shady forest trails with 300m of elevated steel bridges through the upper canopy, then cap it off with the highlight: a 40m cantilever bridge that extends out over the gorge, rising 30m above the creek and rainforest below, made for photos and big “wow” moments.

You will receive a text message the evening before your tour confirming the exact pickup time for your pick up point. Pickup will be between 8:30 and 9:00am to the Mountain and you will leave the Mountain approx 3:30pm to return around 4:30 - 5:00pm

Spent a lot of time waiting around and driving. I wouldn't really consider it a HOPO as the driver already seemed to have 4 things in mind they'd like to do. Would recommend renting a car and going around independently in future

Our Hop On Hop Off service is designed as a shared public transport-style experience around Tamborine Mountain, allowing guests to get on and off at different attractions at their own pace. Because it is a shared service, there can be some waiting and travel time while we connect different guests with different stops across the mountain. We also understand that some travellers prefer a fully independent schedule. For guests wanting complete control over timing and stops, one of our private experiences may be a better fit. Our public Hop On Hop Off option is intended to provide a more sustainable, lower-impact way to explore the mountain while sharing transport with other visitors. Thank you again for your comments. The tour operator/ driver was very friendly and punctual and coordinated all the pick ups and drop offs nicely. I would definitely recommend it
