Easy class II rapids are a great introduction for young children or those who just want to enjoy the scenic beauty of the river without getting soaked! This trip is open to families with children as young as 2 years old. For families with children age 5 and older we recommend the Half Day Rafting Trip.

Perfect excursion for a family with young kids who wants a true Colorado mountain experience. Beautiful landscape, the length and difficulty was perfect for a family with young kids. Our guide was AMAZING. She definitely made the experience what it was. Her name is Joe, and I’d recommend that any family with kids request her. She was very good with the kids.

Amazing rafting experience with White Water Rafting. The staff was super friendly, the guides were very experienced, and my family and I had a blast. We’ll definitely come back and do this again the next time we visit Glenwood Springs.
At the beginning very pleasurable but the weather was unexpected with rain and hail. Our guide, Tater was most professional and kept the group calm. He made arrangements to get us safely off the river. Highly recommend him as a guide.
This trip was perfect for us to take a nine and a four year old on. The older one loved jumping off the raft in the slow sections of the river, and there were just enough small rapids to make it fun for all. Our guide was quite friendly and made it a fun trip for all. Thanks for making this part of our trip so enjoyable!

Guide was very experienced & knew all about the river and it's peculiarities. Individuals at the office were very helpful even though we arrived late.
