Prepare yourself for an unforgettable journey, starting with a convenient pickup from Reykjavík in a minibus. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to the picturesque Skjol Campground, where the thrill truly begins.
At Skjol Campside we swap the minibus out for a super jeep as we make our way to Langjökull Glacier, Iceland's second-largest glacier. This rugged vehicle is built to handle Iceland’s challenging terrain, ensuring a comfortable yet exciting journey.
Upon arrival at our glacier base camp, we’ll gear you up with all the essentials for snowmobiling – from snowmobile suits and gloves to balaclavas and helmets. Our expert guide will provide thorough instructions, ensuring you’re ready to conquer the glacier.
Feel the adrenaline rush as we set off on our snowmobiles, carving through the pristine snow. The highlight of the trip is a visit to a natural ice cave, a breathtaking spectacle of icy beauty. Here, you'll learn fascinating facts about glaciers and ice caves from your knowledgeable guide, making the experience both thrilling and educational. The tour price is based on two persons sharing a snowmobile but after the ice cave exploration you will have the possibility to swap drivers.
Return Journey: After exploring the ice cave, we’ll head back on our snowmobiles to the base camp, then descend to Skjol Campground. As we drive back to Reykjavík, you’ll have time to reflect on the day's incredible adventures.

The tour was an amazing experience. Thomas was a wonderful tour guide and driver. Getting picked up from the hotel made it so easy and he kept the ride entertaining. My expectations were exceeded! Elva was also our guide and his support & light hearted demeanor made the ride so enjoyable. I would highly highly recommend this tour and hope you get a chance to do this once in a life time experience; you will not regret it!

This was such a wonderful experience. I went on a solo trip for my birthday, and they did not disappoint, both the driver and guides were so fun and informative. They even surprised me with a birthday cake. Its definitely a must do!
This is really a great tour. Very unique and tons of fun. The drive to get there takes a while but our driver, Thomas, was fun and gave us lots of good information. And trust me, as you get closer to Base Camp the drive is just as much an adventure as the actual snow mobiles and glacier. They provide snow suits, gloves, face covers, goggles and helmets so don’t worry if you didn’t come to Iceland prepared for an outdoor adventure. Elvir was our guide on the snow mobiles, glacier and ice cave. He was very patient with all of us (none of whom had ever ridden snowmobiles before). He kept a close eye on us and wouldn’t let anyone get separated from the group. It felt very safe. The snowmobile rides were tons of fun. The ice cave so amazing to see and learn about. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to really experience and learn about Iceland.
Amazing! The whole experience from booking to the day of the trip was well organised. Follow the 'before you go' guidance which tells you what to wear etc. I used this as a guide for packing before we flew out. The snowmobiling was a great experience and the ice cave was excellent. The guides were knowledgeable and experienced and ensured that everything went as smoothly as it could.
Amazing trip that had soooo many stops and different places. Thomas was very professional and was a phenomenal guide.
Well guided tour by Thomas. Saw the sights of the golden circle including geysirs and waterfalls. Plenty of time at each stop. Comfortable drive. Small group that met with other groups for the ice cave. The ride on the monster truck was unforgettable. Going deep into the Icelandic snowy wilderness. Highly recommended tour and incredible experience.
The guides were extremely knowledgeable and patient, keeping us safe. The instructions were easy to understand. We had a perfect weather day of sunshine and no wind! We did this as a family activity and it was the highlight of our time here in Iceland. We will be back!
