Itinerary
Discover the beauty of Giverny, the peaceful village where Claude Monet lived and found his inspiration. With its untouched charm and authentic atmosphere, it feels like stepping into a postcard.
There are two distinct gardens on Claude Monet's property. The lovely Clos Normand has hundreds of types of flowers in bloom throughout the spring, summer, and fall. You'll for sure recognize the bold purple Iris' lined pathways and the spicy, orange and yellow Capucines that climb on the arches just in front of his pink house with green shutters.
Waterlillies!!! The Japanese garden on Claude Monet's estate is the most famous as it has a green bridge and a waterlily-filled pond. Your guide will lead you directly to it and help you get the best souvenir photos! You'll see the precise spots where Monet painted from and compare the paintings with what you see in real life.
Monet's Colorful Home: Claude Monet lived here for more than 40 years and raised 8 children. Inside you will see his artist workshop as well as the personal decor and colorful paint that he put in every room. Groups are not allowed into the home as space is very limited inside. So, you will be given free time to explore inside on your own.
Graveside visit: Visit the final resting place of Claude Monet and pay your respects to the great man himself. His tomb is hidden away in a little countryside church's graveyard. Your guide will take you to it and share many of Monet's life stories that went beyond his art but still affected it.

Beauty of gardens met expectations but didn’t anticipate the crowds, which made it hard to move comfortably through the spaces. Guide was very friendly but only accompanied group to first stop—cemetery where Monet is buried—and left us to explore gardens and home on our own. Very informative presentation at cemetery but expected more interaction in gardens for price of tickets ($150/each). Young, fun guide but demeanor/presentation not as “polished” as some of the other guides we had.
The tour was great! The guide was very informative and helped make the experience more enjoyable.

Easy way to go see the gardens from Paris. My guide was informative and helpful. Made the experience easy and had time to explore the gardens and house once there.
This is a great tour company. The guides are great, knowledgeable and handy, and the van is an easy, comfy way to tour. Highly recommend and Giverny is such a beautiful place!

Well organised small tour with knowledgeable and friendly guide.
It was a great tour to Giverny with Sarena. She was very informative. Would not have seen the church or the burial site if not for the tour. Vehicle was comfortable. Sarena was able to create a comfortable time for a tour with strangers.
Our afternoon trip to Giverny was perfect in every way. I appreciated the comfortable van ride but even more, our guide’s breadth of knowledge and his experience around the best approach to managing our time with respect to the crowds at the house, gardens and gravesite. He did an outstanding job with pleasant good humor all day. And he knows a lot about Claude Monet! To top it off he recommended a favorite local restaurant of his to end our wonderful day! Thank you Nicolas! We highly recommend you!
This tour was a true gem. Our group of 8 were driven in an air conditioned van to Giverny, Normandy by our wonderful guide Serena. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. She happily answered all our questions and gave us wonderful tips. My husband, a history buff, truly appreciated the stop at the old church and cemetery where Monet and some D-Day heroes were memorialized. We were given time to explore Monet’s house and gorgeous garden at our own pace. As a gardener I was blown away by the pond and multitude of beautiful flowers. I also enjoyed shopping at the gift shop for souvenirs and grabbing a lunch to go at another shop on the estate grounds. We were able to rest on our ride back to Paris. Overall we had a delightful trip and definitely recommend this tour

It’s lovely to know you appreciated the gardens, Monet’s home, and the historic sites along the way. We’re delighted you had such a delightful experience and truly appreciate your recommendation! - Alice
It was hot in Paris at the time. Book the earliest tour, 8am start. It is a popular place to visit. Getting a solo photo on the Japanese bridge is almost impossible. I have the erase feature on my phone.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful gardens and appreciate the tip about visiting early. We hope to welcome you back to Giverny again soon! - Alice
Wonderful tour that does a nice job of hitting the highlights. Quick trip in/out and avoids the very long queues.
