Itinerary
Located at 80km of Paris, Giverny is a very charming village. Claude Monet decided to move in this place in order to develop his passions such as painting, gardening and photography.
Place of inspiration for painters like Vincent van Gogh, Camille Pissarro, Claude Monet, Charles-François Daubigny and many others... All had left a mark of their genius. The Auvers-sur-Oise village has preserved this precious heritage and you will relive the Impressionist movement birth and fulfillment.
Discover Van Gogh's last housing at "l'Auberge Ravoux" in Auvers-sur-Oise, where he lived in a modest attic room, bedroom n°5, lighted by a simple dormer and where Theo Van Gogh assisted his brother last moments.
This church, built in the 13th century in the early Gothic style and flanked by two Romanesque chapels, becomes, under the artist's brush, a flamboyant monument that seems ready to collapse under pressure from the ground and the two roads that surround it.
A land of inspiration for painters such as Vincent van Gogh, Camille Pissarro, Claude Monet, Charles-François Daubigny and many others... all of whom have left the imprint of their genius here. The village of Auvers-sur-Oise has preserved this precious heritage, and you'll relive the birth and flowering of the great Impressionist artistic movement.

Our experience was really great. Roland the guide was very nice and friendly. He drove us to Giverny to Monet's house. And we enjoyed a marvelous evening there, he explained all the story of the house and Monet's paintings. We thank Roland and France Tourisme for this tour
Hello, Thank you for your review and your kind comment, which I will pass on to the team and to our guide Roland. We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit to Giverny. This tour is quite famous as it takes you to discover the Monet's "world" and his passion about botany and paint. If you are still in Paris or plan to come back, I recommend a guided tour of the Louvre, this wonderful museum is the largest museum in the world and a must see in Paris. You can also try our guided cruise on the Seine to discover Paris from a different angle! Thank you again for your confidence, Have a nice day. Alice from France Tourisme
This was a fabulous tour. The guide was very knowledgeable but left plenty of time to explore as much or as little and where we wanted. A plus for us since if we find something special we want to linger. After visiting these two sites we had a much deeper feeling for the humanity of the two artists, which made viewing their work in various museums more meaningful. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a glimpse of the men behind the masterpieces.
