Luis was so knowledgeable making the tour interesting by enlightening us with unusual facts. He also provided us transportation making pick up and drop off super easy.
We had a fabulous time! Marcelo was our guide, and from the initial on-time pickup, the travel and schedule were great. We went on a Sunday and it seemed less crowded. Overall, our guide was informative and made the tour interesting.
Marcello was very flexible and knowledgeable. Costa Brava was gorgeous for a swim and Dali v interesting.
I just adore these small tour trips in foreign countries. The guides are just fantastic. They give you so much attention and information. It is the only way to travel. Marcello is the best!
This was a great tour and I’m so glad we did it. My kids said the Dali museum was the most interesting of the ones we have been to. Tossa Del Mar was so beautiful and we had an amazing lunch there. I would definitely recommend this tour to people who want to get outside of Barcelona to see some worthwhile sights.
What a phenomenal day! The Julia Travel Office was easy to find at Estacio del Nord (Arc de Triomf Metro station). Staff were immediately friendly, warm and welcoming. Miri and Julia led the visit and created a wonderful atmosphere with the other travellers. They were engaging, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Miri's knowledge of Girona was encyclopedic. We loved hearing about the ancient and modern history of this beautiful town. We had ample time for a wander and have some fabulous lunch and do some shopping before the small crowd of us headed to Figueres. Our visit to the Dali Museum was one of the highlights of our holiday. We had been before in 2004 but Miri told us information that we didn't already know and made the visit all the more memorable. We didn't need the skip the line tickets but I'm glad we had booked them. We had plenty of time to immerse ourselves in this incredible museum - one of my favourite places in the world. Reluctantly, we had to get back on the coach and head off to Girona and Barcelona. This visit was part of my 60th birthday celebrations and Miri and Julia made it really special. I would absolutely recommend booking with Julia Travel. Our guides and our driver, Adrian, were amazing. What a special way to celebrate my birthday!
