This unique tour will bring you to the most famous scenic spots in the Netherlands, which are Giethoorn, Afsluitdijk and Zaanse Schans within one day. In our journey, you would visit a dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoes factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, the longest dike of the world; In the afternoon, you would discover green 'Little Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn. This tour offers free hotel pick-up service within Amsterdam; a luxury and comforable mini bus (Mecedes brand) with maximum 8 persons; and a free bottle of water (one bottle per traveler). This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with a lot of beautiful photos. One remark: Making new friends on the road won't be a bad idea of your travel. Please note: at the peak season, we might combine two groups together, we will contact you about this in advance.

You would expect to have following activities in our VIP tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a private dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a private wooden shoes factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.
This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.
At this attraction, you would expect to see a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by traditional clog makers, get to know the history of wooden shoes, and see different types of wooden shoes. You could have wooden shoes try-on here with different colors. Of course you can take as many photos as you want
Around noon, you would have a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, one of the most incrediable dike in the world. At this stop, you expect to know the story of building this great dike, sightseeing North sea and the biggest inner lake 'Ijselmeer' of Holland. 【Note: The monument stop is at the moment under renovation, observation tower is closed. You would have limited landscape. We have chosen an alternative stop, but keep in mind, the landscape is not as beautiful as before】
In the afternoon, you would explore the ‘Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. You will enjoy about 3-4 hours here to explore the sights by yourself and your loved ones. we include 1 hour traditional boat cruise here. But if you want, you could drive boat by yourself, that would have more fun with your family or friends. Self boat ride will have an upgraded price (around 10 euro/person depends on seasons)

Pickup Locations & Times
We offer hotel pick-up service for all locations in the Highway Ring A10, excluding north part of the IJ river (Het IJ). Travelers can take free ferry to central station from north Amsterdam. We don't pick up from the airport area. One day before the tour, we will contact you via WhatsApp or iMessage to confirm your pick up details. Make sure you leave a reachable WhatsApp or iMessage number in the booking. We pick up between 7:45 - 8:30. You are required to write down your pick up location in the booking 5 days in advance before your tour date. If there is no hotel information in your booking, you could only meet us at Amsterdam Central Station. Please be prepared and wait in front of your hotel 5 minutes in advance before our arrival.

Was great! They picked us up at our hotel and then varied the trip to avoid the worst of the crowds. Covered a lot. Giethoorn and Zaanse Schans were great destinations.

This was a great tour. Our guide, Erik, was very knowledgeable and made the tour come alive. He connected with everyone and made sure we had a wonderful experience. We enjoyed every part of the tour. It was great to have early entry into Zaanse Sans. We were able to enjoy it before busloads of people arrived. I didn't see any other tour that included Afsluitdijk, which was amazing to see and learn about. Giethoorn was beautiful and amazing. We recommend this tour to everyone.
I took a small group trip . We were took in a Car which is a 8 seater . so you might have to compromise with the back seats and getting out of car . You get 1 hour in Zane’s Schans and 1 hour in giethroom to explore of your own after guided trip But if you are travelling Solo be there in “time” as i was late and i was told that i would be “left” Guide was nice and knowledgeable .He helped with pictures and guided us well while exploring the city.
Erik, our driver for the day, arrived right on time, and that was only the beginning of the awesomeness he brought to our day on tour with him. Getting to Zaanse Schans early, before all the larger tours showed up, way key. When we first arrived, it was quiet and peaceful. Easy to take pictures and take it all in. Through the first couple tours, before free time, it felt like we had the "insider" treatment. Moving on, we hit some traffic on the Afsluitdijk but Erik took it in stride and did what he could to keep the tour on schedule. Geithorn was quite the town. Erik suggested a restaurant for us and none of us had a bad meal. He doubled as our canal boat driver too! At this point in the afternoon, it was pretty crowded on the small canals. We saw plenty of rental boats driving erratically but Erik kept his cool and deftly navigated to canals while pointing out various building histories and fun facts and such. To finish off the day, he accommodated our drop off request. While my young children weren't thrilled with the full day, it's something special to see this part of the countryside in one day, all in one package, with a small group. Highly recommended! Erik was an outstanding tour guide! I would recommend him 1000x over. He was so knowledgeable, accommodating, & kind. Touring with him was well worth the money.
Reinier was an amazing guide! He communicated very clearly, met in the lobby of our hotel to guide us to the car, transported us safely to and from the destinations during the tour and was very knowledgeable and personable. He made sure we were on time and that we maximized the time in each destination. I loved that we had a small group and that we could learn about each destination as a small group versus a large touristy group moving around. He made it very easy to enjoy a full day. I would highly recommend him for any tour in the future.
