What an amazing tour, took my son for his birthday , it was absolutely hilarious and worth every penny
Tour guide definitely made the experience, very funny and knowledgeable
Really enjoyed this trip. The guide was great and interesting as well as funny. Played the part well. Would recommend especially during the darker nights where the effects would be much better appreciated.
It was very good the bit scary good stories very well told by the operator loved the doulble decker bus tour around the haunts , we all got out of th e bus to show us old houses pubs butcher shops , the operator was excellent funny
Did the tour tonight and really enjoyed it. At first I thought the speakers were a bit loud but you get used to it. They told us about several ghosts and their stories and we got to see some nice views around the city that I hadn’t been to. The bus is a rickety old thing but comfortable and adds to the character. I also enjoyed the stop to visit the Shambles and the information given about it which I didn’t know. I’d sum it up as informative nonsense (in a good way)!
The Ghost Bus Tour was great fun. We laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing!
I found bit too much theatrical and not as knowledge about the ghosts and sites in York. Also too much time spent on Interaction with people on the coach.
My daughter and me did this ghost tour by bus tour on the 13th June, it was terrible waste of money, I have been a few times on the ghost walks and really enjoyed them but we decided to try the bus tour the guide we had was just trying to be funny all the time hardly talked about anything ghostly apart from telling us about Dick Turpin, some people actually got off the bus and didn’t get back on we thought about doing this but thought it can’t get any worse so stayed on, don’t recommend do the walks instead.
I had a good time. Informative and fun. The bus looks like the night bus from Harry Potter. The tour was good. Stopped at Shambles for a couple of stories. The guides were great.
Honestly the worst tour we've ever been on. Late leaving, did the tour back to front so the guide 'Frank' had no idea what to say or where we were going. That bad that when we stopped for the Shambles 8 people didn't get back on. The tour guide wasn't funny whatsoever and people laughed because it was so bad, not because he was funny. Don't waste your money.
