Geysers del Tatio: The Dawn Spectacle in the Andes
Description
The tour begins early in the morning to the Tatio Geothermal Field (4.320 m), with the show of geysers at dawn and a full breakfast on site. We visit the thermal wells (only observation), the Pueblo Machuca, and viewpoints overlooking the Putana Volcano. During the journey, we keep in touch with the travellers via WhatsApp, with directions, schedules and route details until the return to San Pedro. Estimated Hours : Departure between 04:30 and 05:30 – Return 12:30 (hours may vary) Maximum height : 4.320 m What is included: - Transport in vans (up to 18 seats). - Driver. - Local Guide - Breakfast with cheeses, salads, ham, mixed eggs, handmade breads, avocado, cakes, fruits, coffee, juices, water and milk. - Entrance ticket to the Geysers del Tatio Recommendations before the tour: - Sleep well the night before. - Hydrate yourself. - Avoid alcoholic beverages. What to wear: sunglasses, sunscreen, cold clothes, comfortable shoes, snacks and 2 l of water.

Departure and return point - The tour begins with the search at your hotel, provided it is located on Rua Caracoles or up to 1 km away (central region of San Pedro de Atacama). - In some specific cases, alternative meeting points can be defined. - At the end, the return is always at Rua Caracoles, and from there the travellers return on foot to the nearby hotels. Important : In Atacama, the main means of transportation is on foot, so staying in this region greatly facilitates the logistics of the tours.
