Next we travel to one and only Natural Moonstone mine in Srilanka You can see the moonstone mines and Factory.Moonstone is a sodium potassium aluminum silicate of the feldspar group that displays a pearly and opalescent schiller. An alternative name is hecatolite.
26th of December 2004 was a very dark day for Sri Lanka. Because Tsunami tragedy came to Sri Lanka's southern province. In this museum contains photos of this tragedy. You can see it while you travel to Galle. Warning - If you are a scared or traumatized person, You should not see this museum after that we can see the Tsunami Memorial place also closed by.
Right on the coast north of Hikkaduwa is this statue of a standing Buddha facing the waves with his hands in the abhaya mudra (Buddha pose conveying fearlessness and protection). The statue is a replica of Afghanistan's Bamiyan Buddha, which was destroyed by the Taliban in 2001.
After the Lunch we visit Galle fortress is a very ancient place in Sri Lanka. This fortress created by Portugues in 1588 because In past Sri Lanka was a colony of the Portuguese. This fortress contains so many ancient things and its very higher place in Galle city. In addition, You can see Clock tower,Bastions,Galle Natural Habour,Light House,Dutch Church and more. Great day out. Lots of places to see so be ready. The river cruise was the highlight of the day Moonstone mine has a really nice factory shop and beautiful pieces Our driver was outstanding met us right on time and very friendly and accommodating

Have not long arrived home from the most amazing holiday in Sri Lanka! This was mainly due to the trips that Dimuthu had planned for us. The trips we went on were fantastic. Our day trip to Galle was great. It is such a beautiful place. The scenery and stops we made during our way to Galle, were great. Galle is such a lovely place. Dimuthu's knowledge of the area was fantastic too. This trip is a must! Cannot thank Dimuthu enough for all his organising and making all our day trips great. We had a wonderful day experiencing a glimpse into what Sri Lanka has to offer. It was our first full day in Sri Lanka but the tour was a great way to kick things off. We started off with Dim picking us up early and setting off. We were provided water upon entering the car. The car was very spacious and well air conditioned which was very welcome on a very hot day. Dim was fantastic throughout, giving us plenty of information on the local area, taking us to many local spots including a turtle conservation project, local shops and a boat tour. The boat tour was a particular highlight that we both loved where we saw many stunning views and wildlife. After some lunch, we capped off the tour finishing up in Galle which was stunning. We drove around highlighting some key points before jumping out to see some of the stunning views. Dim was very knowledgeable and gave some insight into the fort and its history. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend Dim for this trip and many of the others he offers.

Booked Dim for our day tour to Galle. Had an amazing day , visited lots of interesting places. Had great time on the Madu river boat . We then stopped at a restaurant for lunch recommended by Dim in Hikkaduwa, excellent choice . Finished off with tour round Galle . Dim has a great knowledge of history. We travelled in comfort with a great guide , he even stopped and got some medication for my partner who was not feeling to great . Can’t recommend him highly enough .
