Sigiriya or Sinhagiri is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres high.
Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country.
Minneriya National Park is a national park in North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The area was designated as a national park on 12 August 1997, having been originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938.

Booked it with all Fees and Taxes included. After 1,5h delay we started the Tour. At the Safari we were told, that there were no entry included for the Safari. We call the Service Hotline and they told us they would not pay it.... Also the Entry and Professional Guidance To Sigiriya Rock and Museum was not included. So really bad experience!!! Don´t book it
Shaminda - our host and facilitator picked us up on time. It was an early start. We had a long drive to Dambulla (all worth it though). The temple is magnificent. It’s a bit of a hike up. We followed by Sigiriya and let me tell you, this place is a must! It’s so beautiful and full of natural beauty and history. Little tip though.. don’t do Dambulla and Sigiriya in one day - your legs will thank you. From there we had a jeep safari. We were able to see so many wild elephants! It was magical. Shaminda was excellent. Very accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much for him. Very efficient and safe driver - highly recommend you ask for him when booking this trip.
