Wellington Full Day Tour A fully escorted tour showcasing all of the best highlights of Wellington city and some of its outer suburbs. Among visiting iconic landmarks, the tour will also include a cafe lunch beside the sea (cost not included), and the choice of taking either a guided tour of the Weta Workshop Studios, or for the nature lovers, a guided tour of our renowned wildlife sanctuary Zealandia. You will see the front of the building
An amazing 360 degree view of Wellington City
Your guide will lead you across the elevated Tree Top Walkway, 20 metres above the forest floor, offering a bird’s-eye view of towering rimu and tawa trees. Keep an eye out for native birds flitting through the canopy as you walk through this peaceful, untouched corner of Wellington.
Guests will ride the iconic Wellington cable car (which first carried passengers in 1902). After you have travelled to the top in the cable car and visited the quaint museum at that end, you will have more breath-taking panoramic views of the harbour and city.
Guests take an easy stroll through the lovely Botanic Gardens
Guests may have a wonder around the beautiful Lady Norwood Rose Garden
Visit the Parliament Buildings and learn a bit of history of the area
Old St Paul’s Cathedral – one of the world’s best examples of Gothic Revival architecture. A 10-minute stop, where guests have to opportunity to visit inside this historical cathedral.

Fantastic day. Our guide was excellent - great sense of humour and so informative. He really wanted to show us all that Welli gton had to offer and even stopped off at his favourite pie place to buy us a New Zealand steak and cheese pie (one per couple) which was the best pie I've ever tasted!! And we bumped i tk tbe deputy prime minister, David Seymour, who stoplwd yo have a chat fkr about 5 mins. Would definitely recommend this trip if you want to see and learn all about Wellington.

This was a relaxed tour. We enjoyed the highlight - NZ Museum. The guide here was awesome. We get to pick which parts of the museum to have more in-depth exploration. We just drove by the gardens though.

We enjoyed a fulsome tour of Wellington with Brian although we frequently felt rushed. This may have been due to a later start since some of the tour group were at a different hotel than the one we stopped at and Brian was also delayed getting to the port for the initial pick up. It was well organized though, Brian was knowledgeable and the sights included in the itinerary were appreciated. We felt we received a good overview.
