It feels like walking on a soft, springy surface—definitely a one-of-a-kind experience! On your first stop, you’ll get a firsthand look at how the islands are built. The locals will explain the traditional techniques they use, and you’ll get to see how they’ve made this way of life work for centuries. You’ll even be invited into their homes to see what daily life is like on the islands. And if you're up for it, you can dress like the locals (optional and fun experience). The Uros people are friendly, so feel free to take photos or videos to remember the moment. They love sharing their story and culture with visitors. Want to see the lake from a new angle? Hop on a traditional totora reed boat, known as the "Balsas de totora." It’s a cool way to glide across the water and really get a sense of the floating islands (optional, 20 soles p/p)

Through their weaving, the locals form a deep connection to their heritage, with each stitch telling a story of the island's traditions, social structures, and community life. During your visit, take a leisurely stroll around the island to fully immerse yourself in its scenic beauty. Embark on a brief 30-minute trek from the Taquile Port to the main square, navigating a charming uphill path. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the island and the captivating expanse of Lake Titicaca. A brilliant day in Puno

We recently visited Puno and spent the day visiting Uros and Taquile islands followed by a visit to Sillustani. This is a beautiful part of Peru and these Islands are so lovelyl and interesting. However, what made our day without a doubt was our guide Samuel. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, we knew we were very lucky to have him as our guide. He gently guided us around the islands ensuring that we got the best views and saw everything. It was obvious that he had a great rapport with the island inhabitants who all seemed to know him personally. After our islands trip he drove us to Sillustani in time for sunset which was a beautiful experience. Throughout our day with Samuel, we felt completely at ease and we learned so much from him about the history and culture of the area. Thank you Samuel and thank you Inca Lake tours. In my opinion this is the company to go with in Puno and Samuel is the guide to ask for.

Wonderful day trip from Puno

Had a great time on this tour as a solo female traveler in my 50’s. It was slowed paced so I had enough time to listen to guide & explore or shop on my own before going to next stop. Samual was my English guide & spoke excellent English & Spanish, plus he is well educated on the history of his country :-)

An exceptional tour with Samuel even for seasoned travelers

What an exceptional tour! Don’t miss Titicaca adventures tour w/Samuel Yanarico Luli (an exceptional guide). Samuel remained generous and joyful even after the thousandth photo or question He shared a great deal of information about the island’s history and brought Sillustani to life with legends well as archeological facts. Sillustani is beyond magical and it was made more so by a thunder and lightening storm which added to its mystical quality. The islands themselves are truly unique and quite beautiful. The hike on Taquile while challenging is nothing short of stunning. Not only was lunch delicious but the view was stunning. Overall it was a tour we will NEVER forget

Good choice Uros- Taquile - Sillustani in one day

Well organized and the guide very correct. Good option to see Uros - Taquile- Sillustani in one day. Which, by combining tours, is impossible

Good but WAY too expensive

Good guide and good tour in general. However i feel that the price is WAY too high for what they actually offer.

Wonderful trip on lake titicaca

Enjoyable interesting day, ably led by our guide Samuel. He was very informative in his talks. It was very interesting to discover how the floating islands were made and the significance of the hats worn by the men on the island. A lovely lunch of trout was served in a family run restaurant. We were collected and dropped off at our hotel.

Excellent experience - UROS and Tequile all day tour

We traveled with our family of 8 people. We did the speed boat with a private guide. Our guide, Samuel, was excellent. He did a great job explaining all the historical things and answering all our questions. Lunch was included in this tour, and he accommodated a great vegetarian lunch, with a stunning view of the lake.

Great experience to Puno/Lake TitiCaca

It’s a great tour to experience Puno/TitiCaca Culture. Our tour guide Samuel is great, he gave us in-depth introduction of the sites we visited. If you have limited time to visit Puno, this one is a good choice!
