Mar is an outstanding guide who created an unforgettable experience. It was extremely well organised, and the information presented was very interesting
The tour was well organised and seeing the king penguins in their natural habitat is a great experience. BUT Full Day means Full Day. We left our hotel in Punta Arenas at 8am and returned at 10pm. Time actually at the penguins reserve was approx 1 hour. Most of the rest of the day was travelling by bus and ferry except for a short stop in Porvenir for lunch. A tour only for those very keen on penguins!
Fantastic full day adventure driving all over the Chilean side of Tierra del Fuego - 7:30AM to 10:30PM. Two ferry rides, many stops at historical places and viewpoints. Atma was a fun and informative guide. Saw all kinds of guancos, rheas, birds and of course, the King Penguin Reserve - AMAZING! Stopped for a huge sheep herd. Highly recommend!
We are so happy that you enjoyed our Full day Tierra del fuego tour, there's always a surprise in Patagonia and you were lucky to see a sheep herd on the road. Thanks for your review!
Saw quite a bit of the fauna along the way to see the penguins, including a fox and rheas. Also used ferry to cross over to the Tierra del Fuego Island. A long day but worth it.
Thank you very much for your preference. Your words are very important to us, as we carry out our tours with great dedication. Thank you in advance for your comment and preference. We wish you a great day.
When the weather cooperates, and I was lucky with that, it is an incredibly rewarding tour. Atma is an outstanding guide, knowledgeable, speaks excellent english and is able to go back and forth between English and Spanish. Take snacks and water with you as you will end up taking over 10,000 steps if you explore all the stops. The Rey penguines are super cute and you get to observe them close.
Communication with this tour company was very poor. Was given a pick up time at our accommodation and no one turned up to collect us. Texted and rang the company. No reply. Waited an hour and then drove to their office. Finally collected at their office. A really bad start to a 15 hour day trip. The visit to the colony of King penguins was excellent.
Lamentamos lo ocurrido al inicio del tour, debido a un problema comunicacional no pudimos avisarle que el pick up sería más tarde de lo normal debido a la salida del ferry más tarde. Estamos trabajando para mejorar nuestro servicio.
We started with a 2 Hour Bus Drive to the ferry in Punta Delgada. Hmm The Stop for Lunch in Cerro Sombreeo is quit ok. After a nother 90 Minute drive we reached Pinguin Rey. Nice Spot. Enjoyable. The next drive to Povenir is almost katastrophic. Terrible Road. 2 Hours. Last the ferry back needs 1 hour waiting and 2 hours trip. 16 hours is a bit to long. 12 wäre enough. But u know it Wihen booking, so no really complain.
