Departing from the Algarve, you’ll travel to Seville where an expert guide will introduce you to the city’s most iconic sights. Discover top landmarks such as the Real Alcázar Palace, Seville Cathedral, Maria Luisa Park, and the stunning Plaza de España. Stroll through the charming Santa Cruz neighborhood and soak in its rich history and unique atmosphere. After the guided tour, enjoy three hours of free time to explore Seville at your own pace, whether it's shopping, tasting local tapas, or simply relaxing and taking in the city’s vibrant ambiance. Please note: Lunch and entrance fees to monuments are not included.

Set in the middle of the park’s elaborate Moorish-style gardens, Plaza de España was built in a classic Renaissance Revival style, and is now home to several important Government buildings. Its semi-elliptic floor is surrounded by an estuary that separates the inner plaza by a marble banister. Four tiled brick bridges, representing different regions of Spain, allow access across the estuary.
“Bairro de Santa Cruz” the famous Jewish quarter located in the city center, surrounded by beautiful and big houses, palaces and white backyards smelling like flowers. Wander around Santa Cruz, admiring its cluster of whitewashed houses and lively tapas bars that spill onto the streets.
Stop at least for photos outside Seville Cathedral, one of the world’s largest Gothic cathedrals.
The Cathedral and the “Alcazar” Palace – originally a Moorish fort and once the Royal family residence. This palace is one of the best remaining examples of “Mudéjar” architecture, a style under Christian rule in Spain using Islamic architectural influence. Walk around the outside of Real Alcazar Palace, home of King Juan Carlos, and admire its array of architectural styles that range from Moorish to Neoclassical. The entrance is not included and please be careful with the time if you decided to use all you free time in Seville (3 hours) to visit the palace.
Sightsee independently, shop for souvenirs or relax over lunch in one of the city’s atmospheric tapas bars (own expense); how you enjoy your free time is up to you! Then, meet your guide at the prearranged time and travel back to your hotel in the Algarve where your day trip finishes. The guide will provide you 3 hours in total in Seville to use on your own after giving all information and explanation of seville importance.
Explore Maria Luisa Park, and hear how its centerpiece square and palace complex Plaza de España was created for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition World’s Fair.
Enjoy the views of the Guadalquivir River.

Highly recommend this tour, Dominique and Constantine were wonderful, informative, friendly and approachable! Seville is a beautiful city! The trip to Seville was only a few hours, but important to note that additional time on the bus is spent picking up Others in different towns, so that adds to the travel time and takes away from the time in Seville! Although these pickups and drop offs were done quite effectively!

This well-organized tour of Seville was a long drive, with stops to pick up and drop off guests from their hotels. However, it was entirely worth it. Our knowledgeable tour guide, Dominique, took her time explaining everything about the tour, including the attractions in Seville. We switched drivers a few times, but all were professional and ensured our safety. We made one stop each way for bathroom breaks and/or dining. Upon arrival in Seville, we had about 4.5 hours of free time to explore at our own pace. We had already purchased tickets to the Cathedral and Real Alcázar, so we headed straight to those attractions. We also visited Plaza España and enjoyed some Spanish tapas. Some guests opted for a boat tour to see the city. Overall, it was a very enjoyable tour, and we’re glad we booked it with this company.

Loved Seville! Would love to go back there! Would have rated 5 stars, but didn’t like how the bus ride home, everyone was dropped off at their individual hotels! Where as in the morning, there were several people at each pick up spot! Also our tour guide really pushed the one hour boat ride, which I don’t recommend! Your time is better spent exploring this beautiful city!

Regarding the return journey, we’d like to clarify that the drop-off process is the same as in the morning: guests are returned to the same meeting point where they were picked up, which is the closest designated meeting point to their hotel. This means that several guests may share the same drop-off location, just as at the start of the tour. You are free to use your free time in Seville in the way that best suits you, and we fully understand that some guests prefer to explore the city on foot. The trip was good but I felt Ana our tour guide was pushing us more to do the boat ride and visit the garden . She was discouraging us to do the castle and the cathedral, which were actually the highlight of the trip. The boat ride is pretty mediocre, I would have felt very disappointed if I didn’t visit the cathedral or do the whole old town square by myself using a horse carriage.
