Itinerary
Hopefully this is where you can get the iconic view of Mount Fuji across the lake, depending on the conditions we'll adjust the timing to maximise possibility for a clear view.
A lovely little village with thatch roofed buildings and 8 pure springs from the snow cap of Fuji itself. Try some local snacks or grab a souvenir on the walk to the ponds.
Due to the fact rice is difficult to grow in the area, houtou noodles is the specialty dish, thick hand cut noodles in a miso broth, of course there are various options as well as a variety of snack foods at most stops
Another lovely village of traditional thatched-roof houses situated on the shore of Lake Saiko, beneath the gaze of World Heritage-listed Mt. Fuji. Each little building houses a museum, gift shop, cafe or restaurant.
A shrine dedicated to worshipping Mount Fuji, it's surrounded be a cedar forest with some trees thought to be over 1,000 years old! This is where people used to start their climb of Fuji after paying respects. The main hall was built in 1615 and the Torii gate is epic.

Outstanding opportunity to see Mount Fuji and beautiful surroundings in great comfort and with a knowledgeable and very pleasant guide. Everything g about the trip was delightful and, to top it off, the weather was great and the views of Mount Fuji brilliant
Thanks Vernon, we're so glad you were able to get a magnificent view of Fuji, it was touch and go there for a while but thankfully the skies cleared! It was our pleasure showing you around and we hope to see you again!
Rich was awesome! He was very accommodating and patient with us. Although the weather did not cooperate and we were not able to see Mt. Fuji, my family and I had such a great time. He had umbrellas for all of us too! He also took us to where we can have lunch Japanese traditional style, on the floor! If you take this tour make sure to only ask for Rich! Maybe he’ll let you “lick” his brain!! (Inside joke!) lol
The views were amazing. The ride was superb. My favorite part of the whole journey was our guide Mr Rich. He has an incredible knowledge and has an aspirational way about him.
The trip to Mt Fuji was the best! Mr. Richardson was very kind, patient and informative. We really enjoyed it and had a great time! Would definitely recommend!
Our trip to Japan was quite exciting and was even more outstanding because of Mr. Richardson. He was very accommodating, kind, professional and knowledgeable about the places we wanted to see. He was calm and very relaxed thus making the trip quite peaceful but entertaining at the same time. Definitely recommend to everyone who wants to visit Japan and have an easy, relax trip around.
