Itinerary
9am Pick-up from your hotel or the railway station in Udaipur and transfer to explore the city. We visit Jagdish Temple, This three stories and 79 feet high Lord Vishnu temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651. It has 32 steps and 50 pillars, really a brilliant piece of Indian architecture.
Next, we visit City Palace, one of the largest palaces in the world. There you can visit a beautiful Crystal Gallery (At your own expense) showcasing all furniture and utensils made up of glass.
Before lunch Boat Ride in Lake Pichola. The breathtaking beauty of the Lakes - Pichola and Fateh Sagar truly make Udaipur an oasis in the desert. The lake is surrounded by hills, palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments.
After Lunch we visit Sahelion ki Bari- the Garden of Royal Ladies, Maharana Sangram Singh II designed this garden in the early 18th century purely as a pleasure garden and a summer palace for the 48 young maids that formed a part of the prince’s dowry.
Next, we visit to Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) For people who love to get to know the cultural diversity of Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum else known as Udaipur folk museum is one of the most popular museums in Rajasthan. It has a rich collection of folk dresses, puppets, dolls, masks, ornaments, folk musical instruments and paintings on display.
Explore the local handicrafts of city including camel leather items (bags, wallets, footwear and more), jewellery (both silver and camel bone) or Rajasthani fabrics (Batik and Bandhini prints) & Miniature Paintings (The miniature paintings are made using a rigorous process which involves manufacture of the pigments and colours from scratch. Very often, these paintings reflect real life events and are portrayals of such events).
After a memorable day, transfer to back to your hotel or the railway station in Udaipur

Pradeep was absolutely amazing. The tour encompassed everything you need to see in Udaipur especially if you only have one day. We were a group of 7 very loud women that wanted to see everything and shop/ he made sure we checked all the boxes! Highly recommend this tour for anyone
I wrote earlier that the lunch place they took was subpar but everything else was excellent. O am pleasantly surprised to hear from the vendor Nikita holidays offering to refund me lunch charges and indeed they returned me the money within minutes. If they keep responding to genuine feedback like this, I am sure they shall become the top most ranked tour operator soon. My best wishes and I recommend this operator to every one - they listen to you!
This tour was a nice combination of historical sites and experiences. Our tour guide was pleasant and informative.
We had an amazing day from beginning to end! Sakib was an incredible guide and a really fun person to spend the day with. He was so knowledgable and the visits to the Palace, Mandir, Lake Pichola and Palace Gardens were beautiful. It was also brilliant as Sakib knew exactly when to do things so that we missed all of the big queues and took some incredible and unique photos too! For a quick trip to Udaipur (or long stay) this is a must do! Also, a gorgeous lunch with an amazing view was included. Thank you so much Sakib & Ajay!

Excellent introduction to the history, culture and beauty of Udaipur, thanks to our guide, Pradeep Ajmera! Pradeep provided lots of interesting information about each site and took some great photos for us. He also did a great job organizing the day based on our interests, the weather, and the two different holidays (Ganesh Chaturthi & Eid-e-Milad) being celebrated that day. We enjoyed speaking both French and English with him. And when our paths met by chance the next day, he graciously and kindly welcomed us to join his neighborhood’s celebration of Ananta Chaturdashi (ceremonial immersion of Ganesh’s idol on the final day of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival) at the nearby “Ghat” (steps down into the lake). What a wonderful experience all around!
