The Panorama Route encompasses some spectacular scenery, with breath-taking views of the Blyde River Canyon, and out over the endless Lowveld beyond. You'll go along the edge of the escarpment, to look out points offering magnificent views, including God’s Window, Wonderview and the Three Rondawels. Along the route we visit the famous Bourke’s Luck Potholes – deep cylindrical cavities formed by thousands of years of water erosion at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers. At lunchtime the tour will stop back in Graskop so that guests can have lunch at a restaurant, and if time permits, can spend a while browsing in local shops or along the pavements. Street vendors sell an amazing variety of goods – from nuts and fruit to beaded necklaces and carved wooden animals. South of Graskop, where the Sabie River rises, and numerous waterfalls tumble down the mountains, we will visit the beautiful Berlin Falls and Lisbon Falls on the way back to Hazyview.

Edward our guide was amazing! His knowledge of timings on when best to visit each attraction for the best view and in between each stop his knowledge of the local area. Every question answered he knew evening after 13 years in this business he was the best! Comfy minibus, lovely people on our tour and great food to end the trip together. So happy we booked this one. Ages 14-50 in our family were mesmerised by the experience.

My guide for the panarama tour was Edward. As a local to the area, Edward has great knowledge, insights and stories about the blyde valley and also kreuger park. Edward is also a gentleman and nice to chat to. You can tell he still enjoys visiting these sights as much as tourists do. He planned the route very well given the difficult weather which enabled me to view all the major sights in a way that allowed the initial poor weather to clear without delaying the timetable. I would recommend booking a tour with Edward.

Such an amazing day. Spectacular scenery at Lisbon Falls, Berlin Falls, 3 Roundhouses, Potholes and Blyde River Canyon. Delicious lunch with interesting African game alternatives. Fantastic facility at Gouge Lift for all activities especially the zip line. Pamle and Sbu were excellent guide and driver. Fabulous information and thoroughly entertaining.

Pamley was the best tour guide as from the first time we met we told him that we had a small child he understood and was patient with us and even in the tours he ensured that the baby was catered for. He carried my daughter in places were it was difficult and was even patient with my elderly mother. He ensured that we were taken care of and happy as clients. He answered all the questions we had and educated us patiently. He knew his work well and was very professional in every way. He communicated clearly and precisely. His honesty prepared us for the day and the whole experience was heart warming without him we wouldn’t have survived the day. He is a true definition of Ubuntu and I will forever cherish him.
