We had an amazing full-day tour to Prison Island, Nakupenda Beach, and Stone Town with Dogo Group, and everything was absolutely perfect! The organization was excellent from start to finish. The guides were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. What impressed me the most was that they divided everyone into smaller groups according to language, with dedicated guides for English, Italian, Russian, and Spanish speakers. This made the tour much more enjoyable and personal. The grilled seafood lunch at Nakupenda Beach was delicious! Fresh lobster, prawns, octopus, and fish were perfectly prepared and one of the highlights of the day. Everything was very well organized while still keeping a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. A special thank you to Abu from Canary Beach Hotel, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Dogo Group to anyone visiting Zanzibar. Great and interesting walking tour about history of Zanzibar and Spices. We enjoyed both side especially the informative spice farm with our guide Abu. He knows a lot about his country and very passionate to describe his home. Stone was better as well and we enjoyed a lot at lunch time we were offered by the company. Overall if you are looking for this activity in Zanzibar, it's the right place to go.

Abu saved our day when the guide we booked didn’t show up. We called his company and Abu offered to take us to these places Stone Town and Spice farm. He is very helpful guide, friendly and more importantly he is story telling and calm. We also arranged to collect the fee from him ( Other Company ) without any additional hassles for me trying to get a refund. Then he truly went out of his way to give me a fantastic tour of Stone Town tailored to my interests. I couldn’t be more pleased. Do not miss to do this combo during your stay in Zanzibar. Abu was great and amazing person on his professional, he was very helpful and more importantly he explained everything we wanted to hear about Stone Town, Spice farm and Prison Tortoise. The food was too much 😃 in fact we ate delicious swahili food in stone town. The duo of Abu and our driver was the best. Do not Miss this Combo with Abu

Service of our guide was great! Knowledgeable about the spice farm was great, and invaluable in Stone Town. However. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE DESCRIPTION! We went to the spice farm, then into town, but there was NO WAY we would’ve had time to go out to Prison Island. But the price included the admission AND a water taxi! For my party of 5, that was $105 we paid for something the tour operator never did with us. I reached out to the tour operator AND Viator, for a refund of that portion, and crickets.
Dear Heather. Thank you very much for opening up to us. We were happy to host you and do our best for you and your family. We do not to do anything stupidity to our beloved clients. The Tour was planned well for you as it explained. Everything was well prepared and reserved for you and more importantly, we always do our tour as descriptions say to all of our customers. First and foremost, late show up. The guide arrived at the hotel in time 09:20am as you planned to be picked up at 09:30am and instead you left hotel at 10. So with your itinerary, everything you gave to our guide couldn’t able to finish the tour as you wished. Secondly : You didn’t not inform us about hurrying to the airport at 2pm. Honesty speaking this is our first experience we ever received since we established our company by not being informed by clients same situation, you had to fill all details in a special requirements to alert us on how your itinerary needed to be tailored, however the tour descriptions say 4 hours Maximum excluding driving time to 3 different spots. Finally: it’s 100% right for what you paid, we booked all tickets for you, private boat to Prison island for you, and reserved Swahili food for you in Stone Town, we were able to continue the itinerary till the end of excursion, but unfortunately the Tour had to end because of your appointment and this situation was not in our side so it was very hard for us to refund the services. We visited the Prison Islands, Nakupenda beach and Stone town. It was worth our while. The tour guide was very knowledgeable as he always gave a brief history of the areas visited. I’ll recommend this. Just awesome.
