Very early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco, to travel for 2 hours by car to the train station located in the town of Ollantaytambo, it is here where you will board the train that passes through the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a Fantastic journey that goes from the Andes to the jungle in Aguas Calientes, this beautiful train trip lasts 1h 45min.
Upon arrival in this small town, our representative will be waiting to assist you until you take the bus that will take you to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the trip takes 30 minutes.
Finally we will arrive at the sanctuary of Machu Picchu, open your arms and feel the magic of this millenary place, enjoy the impressive view from the Inca citadel, surely it is a moment that you looked forward to. After the unforgettable moment, our guide will start the tour that will last 2 hours so that you know in a better way the history and architecture of this wonderful place, you will also know the areas in which the citadel was divided, which despite being isolated could self hold on. After the guided tour you can enjoy Machu Picchu in your own way, you can take photos and explore the place freely.
In the afternoon you will have time to have lunch and explore the town of Aguas Calientes, which has many restaurants and craft shops. Here we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo where our representative will wait for him with a sign and his name written on him, he will drive you to his hotel in Cusco and thus we finish our full day tour to Machu Picchu in one day.

This was an amazing experience! Everything was handled. The communication was excellent. Jose did an excellent job and answered all of our questions. On our way back to Cusco I got sick in the van (not trip related). I had to make alternate transportation because I needed out of the van. At some point I lost my phone in the vehicle. Michael retrieved it and returned it to me at the airport the same day. Above and beyond!!! 10/10 they will take excellent care of you!

Exceptional Experience with Yupi Travel Machupicchu – Thank You, Michael! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our trip to Machu Picchu was the highlight of our Peru journey, and a huge part of that was thanks to Yupi Travel Machupicchu and our wonderful guide, Michael. From almost a month before we even left India, Michael was there to help us through what turned out to be the most stressful part of planning the trip—getting Machu Picchu tickets. When tickets were virtually impossible to obtain online and the Ministry of Culture kept changing the ticketing system, Michael kept us updated with accurate, honest information. Despite the 12-hour time difference, he responded to my messages almost immediately, no matter what time I wrote. One message from him gave me complete confidence: "Trust the information I give you because even if you don't like what I say or it makes you uncomfortable, I will always tell you the truth. That way you will know what is happening." He lived up to every word. Thanks to his advice, we managed to secure not just one, but two different Machu Picchu circuits, allowing us to experience the citadel from two completely different perspectives. That alone made our trip unforgettable. Michael is much more than a guide. He is a passionate storyteller with an extraordinary knowledge of Inca history, archaeology, architecture, agriculture and Andean culture. As we explored the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, he explained not just what we were seeing, but why it was important. The engineering of the terraces, the ingenious water management systems, the astronomical alignments, the agricultural innovations at Moray, the salt mines of Maras, and the rise of the Inca Empire all came alive through his explanations. He answered every question with patience and enthusiasm, and his love for Peru's history was evident throughout the journey. One of the most unexpected and delightful moments came when we discovered his love for India and Bollywood! He told us that Lima has dedicated theatres screening Bollywood movies and that he is a great fan of Shah Rukh Khan. To my amazement, he started humming "Jeena Yahan, Marna Yahan" from Mera Naam Joker and asked if I recognised it. I sang the first few lines, and we both ended up smiling in the middle of Peru. We also chatted about classic films like Haathi Mere Saathi. It was one of those wonderful cultural exchanges that make travel so memorable. Throughout the tour, everything was professionally organised. Our transfers were punctual, the itinerary was well planned, and we never felt rushed. Michael was always attentive to everyone's pace and made sure every member of our group had a memorable experience. If you are planning a visit to Machu Picchu, I cannot recommend Yupi Travel Machupicchu highly enough. Their professionalism, honesty, local knowledge and outstanding customer service turned what could have been a stressful trip into one of the finest travel experiences we have ever had. Thank you, Michael, for helping make a childhood dream come true. We arrived as tourists, but we left Peru with wonderful memories and a friend.

Michael saved me from a tour company that canceled this exact tour without any advisement. I got in touch with this tour company and he called me back and was able to accommodate me for the following day which was a feat to say the least. Everything was booked! We were badly let down by another tour operator that had "guaranteed" us tickets to Machu Picchu and cancelled on us with a days notice. Michael stepped in to help us and organized everything so that we could get tickets in Aguas Calientes for the next day. Everything was extremely smooth, even when we couldn't buy the tour via our credit card and had to meet him with cash. We very highly recommend using this company.

One day before our visit to Machu Picchu, we found out that it had been "canceled"; they did not give us many details, but our entire itinerary was modified, and there was a risk of not visiting this wonder of the world. Our agency in Mexico contacted Michael, who helped us to make it to Machu Picchu. And so it was, on Saturday, May 30, we had our visit. It was stressful days, but Michael supported us at all times.

Excellent tour and especially great help from Mr. Michael Flores, I had a problem with another agency, I had reserved Machu Picchu for May 28 and they canceled it a day before, so I looked for other options and yupitravelmachupichu with Mr. Michael always lent us a hand and thanks to his help we were able to enter Machu Picchu when it seemed there was no way with such short notice, and on May 30 it was possible, thank you!!!
