My tour guide was “Pumbaa” and the driver with him was “Simba”. They were both very friendly, and kind. They made me feel comfortable the entire tour. This experience was very relaxing. We visited two islands, and the blue lagoon. The meal was very good, and there was plenty of food for everyone to share. There’s also an opportunity to snorkel. In addition to the meal, they provided beverages, and fruits throughout the tour. Overall a great experience and great start to my trip here in Zanzibar.
This is one of 5 excursions I enjoyed the most. This sea walk was well organized and varied: Kwale Island with impressive baobab trees , the small colorful local market, a sandbar and marine life with jellyfish, starfish in the turquoise Ocean, shells on the beach, distant landscapes. At the hearty meal we didn't taste any local beers planned. The programme includes Fumba Village. But nobody showed us this village. Too bad. Why does he find it in the program?
beautiful excursion the blue safari.... they accompany you after a bus trip to take a boat and get off in a strip of sand where you taste their delicious fruit, take pictures, swim and leave for the blue lagoon surrounded by mangroves and with super hot water for swimming, to end up on a beach where you can store an old and immense baobab and then have lunch with excellent grilled fish. the Council
Great experience, it was all very organised and people are very friendly and welcoming and definitely worth the price.
We asked our hotel to arrange a private tour for us and, given the high price, we expected an exclusive and well-organized experience. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different: we found ourselves crammed into a boat with 20 other people, without any real guide, no interesting information during the excursion. Lunch on the island was discreet, lobster and shrimp, with water and soft drinks included. The beers, however, were priced higher than local standards. Understandable of course, but it's to warn. The bathroom has a fee (1$). The visit to the island turned out to be quite chaotic: a crowd of tourists crowded around a baobab, without anyone explaining anything about its history or peculiarities. Snorkeling? Absolutely disappointing. The guide told us that it was “the best snorkeling in Zanzibar”, but honestly it was the worst of those done on the island. There were fish, but the area was crowded with numerous boats, some even quite close and moving, creating a potentially dangerous situation and certainly not very respectful of the environment. Speaking of respect for the environment: non-existent. The crew itself dived to retrieve starfish from the seabed and show them to tourists, without any attention to the protection of marine fauna. Misbehavior and entirely avoidable. Even the equipment provided left something to be desired. In summary, a mass tourist experience passed off as a private tour. Really poor Price quality ratio.
It is a once in a live time experience, one I am sure I will not forget. From pick up to drop off the music created a good vibe and the food was great. Thank you Mister P
Beautiful excursion, I was picked up on time at my hotel. The seafood meal was delicious. Ibrahim (Paul Pogba from Zanzibar 😉) is very friendly.
Thank you Mr P for the best trip!! You and your team made us have the best time. Everyone who organised the trip were super friendly and very funny! I would 1000% recommend going on this trip… you learn so much about the culture and the history of Zanzibar and have the best time
We spent a superb day with our guide Brahim, allias Mister B. Everything was beautiful, the sandbanks, the turquoise water of the ocean, the fish, the starfish.......the boat crossing, the seafood meal, everything was top!!!! It is recommended
We booked two tours at Mango during our stay and did it with Abas, the German speaking guide. Abas was a very friendly, cheerful and well informed guide with whom we spent two interesting days and felt very comfortable. Sometimes the planning seemed a bit chaotic, but in the end everything worked out wonderfully. Even if the traffic jam made the original plans impossible, spontaneous reactions and changes were made. Asante sana again on this way!
