Itinerary
We’ll begin our tour at 9 AM at the e magnificent ‘Masjid al-Fatih’ or the Al Fateh Grand Mosque to gain a deeper insight into the Arabic culture and admire the beautiful Kulic calligraphy and fiberglass dome that ornaments the biggest mosque in the world. (photo stop on Fridays)
Next, we’ll continue our quest by making our way towards the Bahrain National Museum and immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of Bahrain, which accounts for more than 6000 years. (closed on Tuesdays)
A 10-minute drive west of Manama, on an ancient tell (mound created by centuries of urban rebuilding), the majestic Bahrain Fort stares out across the Gulf. Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, it is part of the Unesco World Heritage site believed to have been the capital of the ancient Dilmun Empire. As you wander the atmospheric excavations of residential, commercial, public, military and religious buildings, contemplate this: humans have continuously inhabited this site since 2300 BC. (closed on Mondays)
Since you most certainly will be hungry, we’ll stop for a delicious lunch after we set our eyes on the Bab Al Bahrain to appreciate the historic architecture (lunch not included). (photo stop on Fridays)
Full of energy we’ll head off to the Bahrain International Circuit, where we will visit the souvenir shop & have an over look at the track, where the thrill and excitement will take over. We guarantee your heart will start racing!
All pumped up, we’ll head to Sakhir where we’ll say hello to the desert’s best friend – the camel –at the Camel Farm which houses the royal camels and falcons ( falcons during winter months only).
After greeting the friendly camels, we’ll move on to discover recent history at the 1st Oil Well.
You’ll have a chance to take in all the wonders you saw and recollect at the Tree of life. The Tree of Life or Shajarat-al-Hayat, as it is called in the local language, is a mesquite lonely tree that stands in the heart of Bahrain’s desert for over 400 years.
Next stop the Dilmun Burial Mounds. There are more than 100,000 Dilmun-era burial mounds scattered across Bahrain, but none come close to the magnificence of the royal mounds in the historic village of A'Ali. That this was an important place in antiquity is evident from the 17 royal mounds constructed nearly 4000 years ago.
Our tour will end with a stop for a well-deserved glimpse at traditional pottery crafts at A’Ali Pottery.

Half a day tour , made very enjoyable by Angela the tour guide with very in depth knowledge of the history of Baharain and got whatever we asked for.
Angela does a wonderful job. Full of information and friendly enthusiasm.
Wonderful day tour. Our tour guide are excellent and thoughtful. Must join this tour in Brahrain. It is good choice to see most tourist spots in Bahrain. The tour driver come ro pick up at my hotel. The tour are well planned.
Our tour guide Ravinder Was great! What a great tour of Bahrain. I really enjoyed the camel farm and the Grand mosque. I highly recommend this tour.
Bahrain is a small island and this trip takes in most of what is to see of its long history. The neighbouring island and town of Maharraq is also worth a visit.
It’s a great way to see the whole island. Not much to see in Bahrain so a great and efficient way to travel. Our group was only 4 people. The souk is not like traditional souks in the Middle East , just shops with the usual characters making a “special price” for you. Driver and guide excellent with communication on pick up.
the tour was great and we managed to cover all the important sites of bahrain! angela was a great tour guide and mahmood was a great driver! would recommend
If you want an authentic Bahrain experience that’s fun, seamless, and truly special, Nabi is your guy! He is accommodating, HILARIOUS and kept us entertained literally all day. Transportation was amazing and super comfortable - a large spotless van, Wi-Fi, juice, water… fully taken care of from start to finish. The three of us solo travelers had a wonderful day seeing Bahrainian's sights while listening to Nabi's story telling. The group got along seamlessly and it was hugely because of Nabi's energy. When I casually mentioned that I really wanted to see the process of pearl searching in person, Nabi immediately made it happen. He arranged a tour for the very next day, picked me up himself, and I got to spend even more time with him learning, laughing, and exploring. Later, I heard that Nabi is actually a famous Bahraini tour guide, and honestly — once I learned that, everything made sense. His knowledge, connections, energy, and effortless way of making the experience unforgettable are on another level. This tour with Nabi is a must!
A great way to see loads of Bahrain! Our guide Nabi was knowledgeable, hilarious and thoughtful ! He was very passionate about his country and loved sharing it with us.
Great tour to cover everything Bahrain. Our tour guide Ravinder shared lot of information about each place as well as the country in general. Would definitely recommend for everyone.
