From Zanzibar: 2-Day Selous Safari with Flights & Lodge Stay
Description
Start your adventure with an early hotel pickup and airport transfer (if selected). At 7:30 AM, fly from Zanzibar to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park), arriving at Mtemere Airstrip around 8:20 AM. Meet your guide and enjoy a full-day safari in a custom 4x4 vehicle with panoramic views. Explore savannahs, woodlands, and river areas while spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffalos, and possibly African wild dogs. Around 12:30–2:00 PM, enjoy a bush lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive. Arrive at your lodge around 5:00–6:00 PM for dinner and an overnight stay. On Day 2, enjoy breakfast before a 2-hour boat safari on the Rufiji River, home to hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife. Return to Zanzibar on the 10:00 AM flight. If only the 4:00 PM flight is available, enjoy a complimentary walking safari or village tour with lunch included. Hotel transfers in Zanzibar are provided if selected.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Ocean Blue Holidays. We booked four trips with them: Safari Blue, a safari to Mikumi National Park, a trip to Mnemba Island, and the Quad Adventures with a visit to local villages. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The trips were beautiful, well organized, and full of unforgettable moments. The tour was the best ever. Ocean Blue has always made everything possible. We had “the best Guide of the world” with Robert. 1000% recommendation if you plan to visit Tanzania or Mikumi Park. The accommodation or 1 night in the bush, among baboos, geckos and centipedes - unforgettable. Lions, elephants (close up!), zebras, antelopes and many, many more. You need full batteries and empty memory cards 👍🫶👍 The domestic flights with single-propeller planes, on the return flight I even sat in the co-pilot seat 🫶🇹🇿❤️🇹🇿
