Me and a group of 13 friends went on a tour to Plitvickie lakes, which was stunning! Our tour guide Monika had a great sense of humour and a laidback approach which made us feel relaxed despite the intensity of the tour. She was very hospitable and approachable. I really enjoyed the whole experience 😃
Excellent day out with our guide Bojan. The most beautiful scenic trail and a detailed history of Croatia, the lakes, local knowledge and interesting facts. We cannot rate this trip highly enough.
That was really great. Unforgettable experience and worth it to see.
Absolutely amazing day out. The initial meeting point in Old Town was incredibly easy to find, signposted from the street as In&Out Zadar. Everything was well-timed. Our guide Filip was very knowledgeable, extremely passionate and took the time to speak to everyone individually. The coach journey was fantastic with air conditioning and a stop off break on the way at an amazing cafe in the mountains (around €7 for a hearty baguette sandwich, and a drinks selection). The walk itself was incredibly accommodating, far less strenuous than anticipated since Filip chose the route that was almost entirely downhill or flat. And there was a stop at the cafe around half way where they sold drinks/ food and had water stations to fill up your water bottles. The views are breathtaking. This is definitely an experience to prioritise when visiting Zadar.
Can’t recommend this trip enough - the park is like a different world. Never seen anything like it before! Around every corner there’s another water fall or lake even better than the last. The colours of the water are unbelievable- like heaven on earth. Our guide Filip was excellent- so friendly and knowledgeable. The trip was excellent value for money and pick up / drop off was so easy. Make sure you do this trip, even if it’s the only trip you do!
Everything was perfect from the pickup in Zadar to the end of the excursion.
Excellent tour, wonderful guide with a lot of knowledge that provided a lot of insight on both the park and Croatia. Absolutely loved this tour, highly recommended.
Filip a superb guide, very helpful and knowledgeable, great national park and lakes experience, got to know from formation of park, through history, geology, beauty and Croatia a better place for Plitvice Lakes National park. PS do the Zadar tour also !
The lakes and waterfalls are fabulous and our guide, Bojan was knowledgeable and communicated well. The only let down was the less than ideal sound quality on the bus, so my husband missed about half of the commentary through poor quality of the speaker systems and his slight deafness. I managed about 95%, missing mostly names, but I had to concentrate for the entire hour plus of commentary. The lakes were a beautiful light emerald green or turquoise at times and the walk was mostly downhill, but at around 7 km was still an energetic walk. The boat ride across the lake was delightful. We even saw about 4 larger fish in the bottom lakes. The last few hundred meters were uphill and the heat was intense, so that was hard work. With the heat at 34 ° C by the end of the day, we appreciated the lunch time water bottle filling station, with fresh, cool water.
Everything fine arranged. Enthusiastic guide Monica who told a lot and mingled with the group while hiking to answer questions and tell stories. Beautiful walk made also the train trip and the boat trip were perfect. Definitely recommended! The bus that took us from Zadar and picked us up at the Plivic Lakes had air conditioning and fine seats. We had a great day!
