Experience the heart of Tuscany like a real Italian and zip around the off-the-beaten track locations far away from the crowds on your own Vespa or as a passenger.

Meet our team by the Tuscany on Wheels office located in Barberino Tavarnelle right at the exit "Poggibonsi Nord" of the speedway "Firenze - Siena" only 12km to San Gimignano. Park you car by the office for free or request a paid pick up to our team in advance. Meet the guide and start the pre departure procedures including the driving test to make sure you are confident enough on the vehicle. Don't forget to bring all the documents required for the tour.
After a short introduction about safety procedures, the group will be ready to kick the road. You will then venture through the panoramic roads of Tuscany and the Chianti hills where you will fall in love with the fields of vines, cypresses and Tuscan rural houses. Don't forget to bring your camera as there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture the eagerly awaited moment and freeze it in time. Stop along the way a few times to enjoy the best photo stops, take photos and listen to the stories from the guide about the area.
Next stop will be a local winery where the kind owners will take you around their property before serving a wonderful & authentic tuscan meal with 3 wines and extra virgin olive oil to taste, an absolute treat!
Hop again on your iconic scooter and follow your guide for the last part of the scenic drive. Lots of exciting stories are going to be also shared along the way!
Return back to the same starting point in the afternoon with a camera full a photos and a heart full of joy. Before leaving the group, go quickly through the final check of the vehicle.

- Previous scooter/Vespa/motorcycle driving experience is required and mandatory: A driving test is conducted by the team before the tour to verify the real ability to drive and being confident on a Vespa. Any participant unable to drive scooters safely may ride double with the partner or won’t allowed to attend the tour. No refunds will be granted in these cases.
- A valid credit card for preauthorization is required as a guarantee in case of damages to vehicle. (No prepaid card | No American Express cards | No bancoposta)
- A driver's license valid in Italy is required and must be presented upon arrival.
- Drivers must be at least 18 years old and passengers at least 15 years old
- The tour is actually 4h for the day tour but we require 1- 1h30 approx depending on the group size, for the pre check in tour procedures which include the test drive, the vehicle damage check, the contract signing and 30m approx when returning from the tour for a total of 6h
- The vehicle weighs 88kg (194lb)
- The height of the saddle from the ground is 81cm (2'). Not recommended for people smaller than 1,60m (5’3”)
- Max speed of the vehicle is 48km/h (29.82 mph) on flat roads / 15km/h (9.32 mph) on hills
- Vespa Primavera 50cc or Zip provided for the tour. Max weight on the Vespa50cc is recommended at 160 kg total (353 lbs)

I had the best experience riding a Vespa for the first time! Alessandro was a fantastic guide who had a wonderful mix of knowledge and humor. I would highly recommend this experience for solo travelers who are looking to experience a bit of a Tuscany adventure. The wine tasting was also such a great time and so very delicious. I want a Vespa now!
First you come at the meeting point and Alessandro greats you and than the instructions part beginns. You will be told how to handle the Vespa and Alessandro is very calm and nice while he teaches you. After that you get to see the beauty of Toscany with all its Winyards. Dont hesitate and just book thia amazing trip. At the end of the day I was more than happy and I happend to see the landside of Toscany which is a big plus.

Had a great time on the Vespa tour with my finance. Ottavio was our guide for the day. He picked us up from Florence and brought us to the office where we did our “road test” before we hit the road. Ottavio was very personable, funny and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this experience. The winery was also amazing, the “light lunch” was 3 servings and included the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Thanks for an awesome day in the rolling hills of Tuscany!

Had a wonderful time. My partner drove me on the back of her Vespa. Only two other groups of two. To be honest only going to one winery felt a bit lacking, especially with how many wineries we passed it seemed like we easily could have fit in at least 1 more quick tasting? but overall a great time and our guide Alex was knowledgeable and oh so friendly, he truly lives the Vespa life. The lunch was great and we tasted a variety of delicious wines. Worth a booking for sure

Alessandro was a super nice guide. Before the tour everything was clearly explained. During the tour there were several stops, telling more about the history of the region. The wine tasting was also a highlight, great wines and great food! Great!
