We took a guided tour of Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza and we can only call it exceptional! Our guide, Nancy, was simply extraordinary: prepared, passionate and always available to answer our questions with enthusiasm and competence. The day began with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where Nancy introduced us to the treasures of Pharaonic civilization, including the famous Tutankhamun finds. His explanations were rich in historical details but never boring, bringing ancient history alive before our eyes. The highlight was of course the visit to the Pyramids of Giza: the majesty of Cheops, Chefren and Mycerinus really leaves you breathless. Nancy told us the story of the pyramids, built more than 4,500 years ago as monumental tombs for the pharaohs, explaining also the astronomical alignment and theories on construction techniques. Also unforgettable is the visit to the Sphinx, shrouded in mysteries and legends that Nancy was able to tell with great charisma. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience a complete immersion in the history of Ancient Egypt. And if you can, ask Nancy for guidance: she will make a real difference!
