Itinerary
Toledo is a UNESCO World Heritage city where Christian, Jewish, and Muslim cultures shaped a unique history. With its medieval streets, stunning viewpoints, and rich heritage, it’s one of the most impressive and must-visit destinations near Madrid.
The Mirador del Valle offers the most iconic panoramic view of Toledo, where you can admire the entire historic skyline in one breathtaking scene. It’s the perfect spot to capture unforgettable photos of this UNESCO city from above.
The protected area comprises the old city center, enclosed by the city wall and the meander formed by the Tagus River. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. The city also has the status of Asset of Cultural Interest, having been declared a historic-artistic monument on March 9, 1940.
The Plaza de Zocodover is a square in the city of Toledo. It was the central hub of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. Horses, donkeys, foals, mares, mules and other animals were sold in the square when Toledo was a Spanish-Muslim city
The cathedral of Toledo is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain. It was begun in 1226 under the rule of Ferdinand III, and the vaults of the central nave were finished during the time of the Catholic Monarchs in 1493.
It is the Jewish community of Toledo which became, in the 12th and 13th centuries, the most populous and rich of the Kingdom of Castile. Coexists for centuries, more or less peacefully, with Muslims and Christians, in which it would be called the city of the three cultures.

I loved it! A complete success. The service was very pleasant; I will surely repeat it.
The tour is excellent, very well coordinated, and the activities are very fun. Thank you, Monica, for everything!!
Very good experience, I will definitely repeat it when I return with my group of friends; the treatment has been excellent and the quality of service is unbeatable.
The guide was nice and knowledgeable which is the only redeeming feature about this tour. The tour company was obnoxious and unaccommodating. When we arrived at the meeting point (the tour offices), the person who checked us in declined to let me use the restroom-they clearly have one and i have never had this experience when meeting at a tour office-they generally encourage you to use the restroom, especially if the first stop is over an hour away. The same person told us we had one minute to make the tour (was not accurate) and basically kicked us out. The next restroom was over an hour away in Toledo. Very bad first impression! Also, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were a few minutes late to arrive at the bus on the way back. I told the bus driver we would be a few minutes later and they did not bother to wait. The free time was also limited and the tour does not offer entrance to any of the locations listed. There are lots of other options for tours to Toledo, i would recommend using a different company
Thank you for your feedback, Rachel. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few important details for future travelers. The tour you booked is our basic half-day Toledo experience, which includes round-trip transportation, an official guide, a guided walking tour, and panoramic viewpoints. It does not include entrance tickets to monuments, as these are part of different tour options. For travelers looking for more free time or access to sites such as the Cathedral, we always recommend booking the full-day tour or selecting a package that includes monument entries. Regarding the meeting point, we currently do not have restroom facilities on-site, which is why we kindly recommend arriving 15–20 minutes in advance. There are nearby cafés and restaurants where facilities are available before departure. We also operate with strict departure and return schedules out of respect for all passengers and to ensure the smooth running of the tour. While we understand this may feel restrictive in some situations, we are unfortunately unable to delay departures or wait beyond the scheduled times. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the guide, and we will continue working to ensure the overall experience matches that standard. Thank you again for your comments — they help us improve and also help future travelers choose the experience that best fits what they’re looking for.
The best experience with the best
Ricardo’s English was very difficult to understand. The visit to the jewelry factory was just a big sales pitch. Anthony, the English speaking guide, was patronizing and looked ridiculous in his bib overalls.
Good attention from the staff, in the purchase we have been given all kinds of explanations very professionally and the tour has been comfortable and Toledo is an incredible place very suitable to spend a very nice day with the family.
Muchas gracias JosemV8189GR por sus comentarios que nos ayudan a crecer y sobretodo ayudan a otros viajeros. El equipo de Madrid Tourist Hub
Half day Toledo tour. For those who do not want to enter anywhere is fine, panoramic view of 10 minutes, visit to the factory and sale of unnecessary knives 1/2 hour, and correct the guides by the points of interest of the city. Then free time to do what everyone wants.
I arrived on time and there was no bus to start the tour. They didn’t give me any solution to resettle (it was my last day in Madrid and I had the possibility to come back in May and they told me that it could NOT be scheduled for that month). They treated me with high-handedness. I do not recommend them, as I consulted it seems that part of the business model does not respect the start times to leave people outside.
Good option if you are looking for a quick day trip. 1) Be careful on escalators. An older lady tried pick pocketing my wife on them. 2) Trains are faster and cheaper. 3) You will stop at a store on the way that all the bus companies must get a kick back from. All the items sold there can be purchased in the town. 4) If you have a baby stroller. You will be carrying it up stairs half the time. 5) The walking tour is quite nice. 6) The busses will leave without you, so plan accordingly. Toledo is great, recommend.
Hi Thomas R., Thanks for your review. I'm sure your words will help another customers. I hope you enjoyed our tour in Toledo and I also hope to see you again in Madrid Regards
