From Krakow: Wieliczka Salt Mine Group Transfer and Tour Options

Discover the underground world, its secrets and legends by visiting Wieliczka Salt Mine - one of precious treasures in the cultural history of Poland. Until now it has been visited by over 40 million tourists from all over the world and in 1978 it was inscribed in the UNESCO list of world's heritage sites. Along the tourist route you will have a chance to visit around 20 gorgeous chambers, see saline lakes, tools and machines used for the process of mining and works of art: dozens of exquisite sculptures and bas-reliefs carved in salt - human hands' creations. Thanks to the guidance provided by licenced Salt Mine's guides you will learn about the history of the mine and lives of many generations of miners and their principle of hard work. There are 800 steps to walk down (350 of them will take you to reach the depth of 135 metres underground, the steps are wide and there are handrails) and at the end of the tour the lift brings you back up.

There are options available with transfer from Krakow, with hotel pickup or meeting point pickup. The duration of the pickups is approximately 30 minutes.
The Graduation Tower is a structure of the salt mine where water is removed from salt through evaporation. The air is rich in minerals and helps cleanse the respiratory tract. You may purchase an entrance ticket to the Graduation Tower directly at the Salt Mine.
The transfer-only option does not include admission fees and a guided tour. The transfers are planned so that you can attend an English-guided visit between 11 am and 2 pm *purchased independently. The first departure is at 10:00 a.m. from Krakow, and the last is at 4:00 p.m. from the Salt Mine.
There are available options with admission and a guided tour of the Salt Mine, included in the price. Some of the options include round-trip transportation, while others are ticket-only. For the ticket-only, the meeting point is at the salt mine entrance. Public transportation is available from Krakow.

If you choose an option with Hotel Pickup, please provide your address. We offer pickup from a wide area in central Krakow. However, there are hotels outside our range. If you are a party of four or more and your hotel does not appear in the pickup area, please fill in your address in the comments. We may be able to provide a hotel pickup or pickup from a nearby location. We will send an email/text with detailed instructions about your meeting place and time the day before the activity. Please note that your preferred departure time may be adjusted by up to 1 hour.

Definitely worth it. Friendly driver and still shared sights during the ride. Good agreements and guidance. The guide driven and funny, following was the message or the information obtained through the earpiece fell away. You had to keep going, understandable given the large influx of visitors. Taking pictures sometimes had to be done quickly to very quickly. What you get to see is phenomenal.
