Your full-day tour begins with hotel pickup in the early morning in an air-conditioned minivan. First, you will visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. After, travel to Wieliczka where you will have a 1 hour break to get some lunch and then visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine. Your small-group will have a professional local guide with a headset at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. At the Wieliczka Salt Mine you will have a local tour guide.

The concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau (1941-1945) is known across the whole world as a symbol of Nazi genocide and terror. During the Second World War, it was the biggest Nazi concentration camp in which over one million people died, mostly Jews. After the war, Polish authorities converted the camp into a museum dedicated to the memory of the Nazi victims. The Salt Mine Wieliczka is inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage list. This is the only facility in the world that has been functioning constantly since the Middle Ages. Original excavated holes, galleries, ramps, lakes, chambers and shafts – you will see all of them on the specially prepared tourist route

Important note! You choose your preferred pickup time. Your preferred time is not guaranteed. Departure is possible between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM. You will be informed about the exact departure time the day before the tour. We will pick you up from your accomodation/hotel address or meeting point in the city center of Cracow (alternatively as close as possible of your address) For customers who do not require pickup, the tour begins at one of 5 meeting points to choose from in the city center.

- The break when visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum lasts about 10 minutes. The lunch break between visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Wieliczka Salt Mine lasts approximately 1 hour
- The service does not include lunch
- The maximum size of backpacks brought into the Museum cannot exceed dimensions 30x20x10 cm
- For all bookings we need full names of all participants (same as in ID or passports). You will be also asked to have your ID during the tour
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Depending on the availability of the guides, sometimes the Salt Mine tour might be done first in the morning
- Due to the historical sensitivity of the destination, we recommend the minimum age of travellers to be 16
- Not recommended for wheelchair users - not all areas are accesible

Filip was a great tour guide around the Auschwitz-Birkenau camps. Really brought the harrowing history to life, whilst always remaining very respectful. Very knowledgable. Not as impressed by the salt mines, quite repetitive and boring.

Good experience for a good price. However pick up at 5.30 am was extreme. Our tour guide filip was lovely and very knowledgeable.
