From Jujuy: Serranías del Hornocal and the hill of 14 colors
Description
We will begin the trip to the hill of 14 colors, also known as the Serranías del Hornocal. We will depart from the city of Salta to enter the province of Jujuy, where we will visit the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will pass through the town of Volcán, Purmamarca where we will find the majestic Cerro de los 7 Colores; Tilcara; Humahuaca, the largest town in the ravine; Uquía, a small town where the ancient paintings of the Arquebusier Angels reside; Huacalera, where we step on the imaginary cut of the Tropic of Capricorn and finally, La Paleta del Pintor in Maimará. Once you reach Uquía, you transfer to a 4x4 vehicle where the road to Hornocal will begin to enjoy those magnificent panoramic views. On the way back there is a stop in Humahuaca for 20 minutes. It is recommended to bring food for lunch since there is no time to stop at a restaurant in Humahuaca.

We search for passengers and begin the trip to the Quebrada de Humahuaca. One of the main points are Volcán, Tumbaya and especially Purmamarca, where the Cerro de los 7 Colors is located. There we will have the first important stop of the day.
Technical stop to take advantage and go to the bathroom and buy supplies.
We visit the hill of the 7 colors, one of the most characteristic towns of the Humahuaca ravine
Visit to the town of Tilcara, where the Pucará is located
Visit to the village church and the ceramics factory.
Once you arrive in Uquía, you transfer to a 4x4 vehicle where the road to Hornocal will begin to enjoy these magnificent panoramic views. On the return there is a stop in Humahuaca for 20 minutes. It is recommended to bring a lunch or something light for lunch since there is not time to stop at a restaurant in Humahuaca.

Excursion very well organized, on time with an enthusiastic guide (Fabio). However, the duration of the stop at the Serranía Del Hornocal should last more than 20 minutes

We enjoyed the excursion with Fabio as guide. He is energetic and not stingy with comments. He looks after his group very well. However, the stop at the Serranías lookout is far too short. A break of at least 30 minutes should be available instead of the 20 minutes allotted. This is why we award 4 stars.

Ask for Fabio - he takes great pleasure in showing local inside tips on picture perfect spots, tasty dishes, and flexes throughout the tour to make sure you feel comfortable when it is least hot to walk between plazas.

The tour itself was nice and really beautiful – the Serranías del Hornocal are impressive and definitely worth seeing. However, it was stated on the booking page that visiting the Pucará de Tilcara is part of the tour. However, this service was not provided during the tour. In order to be able to visit the sight anyway, I had to pay the entrance fee myself on site. This was disappointing as I relied on the services advertised in advance. Overall a nice tour, but the deviation from the description significantly clouds the overall impression.
Thanks to Fabio we had a wonderful time only complaint was driver needs tool box to fix problems the rest no complain beautiful trip

On today's full-day trip to Humahuaca with Hornocal, Soledad accompanied us. Informative, attentive to everyone. She is wonderful. It is worth seeing those beautiful mountains, taking a look at them and the winding road from 4350m. There is little time, and it would be great to stay longer and walk through the charming streets of those small towns. Snezana from Serbia
